Love the name change! Same delicious food and amazing staff as always. Their crawfish dip is really tasty.

Food was good but was a little thrown off when the bill came…they give a discount for using cash and charge you for a card….queso was small ‍♀️ think we’ll try somewhere else next time

Cheese dip, salsa and chips were good.Ordered the supreme burrito and they gave me the lunch special. Didn’t want the lunch special. Wanted the big one for leftovers. Wife got a combo meal and the tortilla for the enchillada was was hard. Not sure if it was stale or what. At this point we did not want to discuss it with them. We both agreed….Never Again. Last time we ate there it wasn’t good, so we gave them a second chance and now we know.

Dining room was virtually empty in the middle of lunch which should have been a warning. Chips were greasy and stuck together and salsa was mild and flavorless. Items on “vegetarian” menu included refried beans but it was not mentioned anywhere that they were made with animal fat. Manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Found hairs in my meal that I had just started and decided it would be safer and much more pleasant to eat elsewhere, which we did.

My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla lunch combo and it came out soaking wet. You could pick the quesadilla up and the water drip off of it. My wife decided to get a replacement steak quesadilla instead. When we received the bill we noticed that they charged us for the chicken quesadilla combo plus the steak quesadilla plus the rice and beans. We got the manager and she argued with us about the issue. She had a very rude and horrible attitude when she came to help us. Like no we are not paying for your mistake and then also going to pay for the rice and beans when it comes with the combo. Then the couple we were eating with used their debit card to pay for their food. The waiter charged them an automatic tip of $16 they found this out when they got their card and receipt back from the waiter. They told them they were going to pay cash for the tip. The manager said it was a law and was not going to be re-payed the tip.

Second time here in two and a half years and today was a much better experience since the first visit back when it was under a different name in 2020. The food was fresh, served quickly and the chips were just right (not too salty or oily but not dry and bland either). The picante salsa that we asked for was unusually tiny in size and more of a sauce than a salsa. We were also unaware there would be a $2.00 charge when we asked for a spicier salsa but overall, no valid complaints worth making. Only items tried today were: tamale, beef burrito, and tacos. The tacos are not like street tacos in Mexico but they did have cabbage rather than chopped iceberg lettuce like many American restaurants prepare. The lunch prices were reasonable ($9 each) and the portions were fair for the price. Cholula is available upon request, Tapatio is not and we forgot to ask for Valentina’s or Yucateco. Will certainly try their take out options in the future or dine in for dinner.

Used to be of decent quality prior to name/ownership change. Quality has dropped off significantly plus customer service has suffered. Do not recommend… more authentic Mexican restaurants to eat at.

Rebekah was our server, she is super friendly and very informative, I was not sure what the meal was called that my daughter and I had ordered from a different Mexican restaurant, I described it to Rebekah she knew exactly what I was talking about. The food was super super yummy!!
Thank you Rebekah and staff. We will be back for sure!!!

I’ve gone here about 7 times and every time it’s always bad. It’s the closest one to my house so if I’m desperate I would go there instead of El Ranchero. I’d rather just drive. In the past I’ve ordered a tamale, and I got half of a tamale. Next time, I got a small tamale with salsa on it. The last time I ever got a tamale it had basically no filling. This time I got a chicken quesadilla with my boyfriend and he couldn’t even eat one because he lost his appetite due to the quesadillas being so bland. It tastes like canned chicken. I’m white and I could make better quesadillas.

I Ordered a beef quesadilla, they didn’t put cheese on it. My daughter & mother in law ordered a chicken quesadilla. They both said it tasted like it had chicken soup on it and as if it come from a can. Plus the tea tasted old. First & last time going.
