The sushi was made so beautifully, fish was fresh, and the spicy miso soup was delicious. Ricky is such a sweet guy, while we were there he brought over a soup he made for the neighboring food cart, great community energy. The delivery was made on 12/19/2025 in the evening, and the rolls arrived completely different from the pictures. Instead of California rolls, they sent avocado rolls, and instead of eggsolant rolls, they sent vegetable rolls with eggplant!! I want to resolve this problem because the evening was thoroughly ruined!!!!!

This used to be our favorite “I’m too tired to cook and we have no leftovers” place. The rolls tasted good and were rolled tight, the free soup was nice, and wait time from order to food was usually reasonable.
Lately I’ve noticed a drop off in the quality of the rolls, the neatness of their construction and an extension of time between order and eating. Tonight (January 18,2026) we waited 45 minutes for the order of 4 rolls.
I think we’ll be finding a new “too tired to cook and there’s no leftovers” place. Maybe when the weather is warmer we’ll try it again.

The spicy salmon sushi burrito was absolutely fantastic. Very fresh fish (no fishy taste), perfectly cooked rice (flavorful too), super fresh tasting avocado, super filling, just great all around. reasonable price too, for what you get, the burrito is like at least like 1.5 pounds, it’s huge. Sooo good.

The Yard has some great food options and Ricky’s is a highlight. LOVED my okra roll! Sizeable bites with solid flavor. They offered some free miso while waiting which was lovely. Lots of veg roll options and they are affordable. Glad I didn’t get a chance to eat all day otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to polish off the Okra and Montavilla rolls in one sitting. My roommate really liked her Vegas roll as well. Satisfies customers and we’re definitely coming back here.

I love stopping by this spot for a quick cucumber roll because it’s so affordable and the service is so amazing at the cart! I’ve ordered the cucumber roll and cucumber/avocado roll many times and they’re huge servings for a very low price. Once when I came to the cart and it was cold and rainy, they gave me a complimentary miso soup which was sooooo nice and I still remember the gesture!
Today I just asked for a cucumber roll and I was given a cucumber roll and a cucumber/avocado roll extra for no charge. Not sure if it was a mistake or not but I’m a happy customer and will continue to return and tell others 🙂

Best sushi burritos EVER!! We make special trips from several towns over, just for the Dragon Burrito, seaweed salad, and the Miso soup is divine. The crew is outstanding everytime, always making sure our order and experience is perfect.

I was a little bit hesitant getting raw fish from a cart instead of a restaurant. But let me tell you that it is some of the freshest sushi I’ve had in Portland. The rolls are made after you order. The fish is fresh and the avocado was even more delicious really good food. All of the carts near by make it easy for everyone to find a bite to enjoy. I ordered a mango shake next door and that was phenomenal as well.

So many yummy vegan options available here. Flavors were great and fresh. We had the okra roll, the jalapeño popper roll, the veggie tempura roll, the tofu roll, and the avocado and cucumber mini rolls. It turned out to be more food than needed for two people, but everything was great. We especially loved the okra and veggie tempura rolls. The people working there knew exactly what vegan meant and used vegan cream cheese and mayo, etc. Looking forward to trying more of their vegan menu in the future.
