I really hate to leave any negative feedback, so this is more of a heads up not to order takeout. I try to support local places but I just don’t know anyone who can justify $18 for one piece of Chicken Piccata and no sides. I was really excited about the Stuffed Mushrooms but disappointed to have spent $12 to get 3 mushrooms in total. They were maybe the size of a half dollar each. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of those. However, the Fish & Chips meal was delicious. A very generous sized piece of fish, fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. I’d definitely recommend that meal to anyone stopping in. The male bartender was great, super friendly. I’ve met the owner and he’s amazing. Maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen.

Came here for date night tonight & was very pleased! The food was exquisite & the service was perfect! Definitely recommend the Gooey Butter Cake & Chocolate Mousse for desert! (10/10 for the deserts!) The food was very good & you can’t go wrong with anything you order. I got the Hot Turkey Dinner & she got the Chicken Apple Pecan Salad. We also ordered a Shepard’s Pie & split it but we definitely had way too much food, we were so stuffed but everything sounded & looks so good!! The prices were very reasonable especially for it being a fine dining restaurant. Only thing I would recommend is putting Scotch Eggs on the menu! That is my favorite item that I always look forward to when dining at English Pubs. Great experience overall & very happy.

Have been wanting to eat here for a while and finally got the chance. My wife and I celebrated an early anniversary dinner and found this to be a great spot to do so. Wifey had the Chicken Piccata and I had the fish and chips. We both enjoyed our choices and found that the food was a great value, good size portions at a decent price. Linda took care of us and she is knowledgeable about the area and she has a great sense of humor. We liked eating here enough to plan a return visit soon. There are already a million photos of the exterior, interior, menu, and food so I’m including a couple of shots of IPA beers from local breweries. Cheers!

I was searching online for places that serve up fish/seafood on Fridays and found Ricky’s and so this was our first visit. Both meals were delicious and as can see beautifully plated. The salmon was so good with the crusted pecans and the cod was fried up just right. Service was excellent and we loved the unique rustic decor that gives a dark & moody feel in the place. We love it!

First time there, Linda was super sweet behind the bar. We got the fish and chips and it fantastic. Some of the locals that were sitting at the bar with us were super nice, the one gentleman that works next store went back out and got us a Farm and Dairy newspaper and some other material just being friendly. Will definitely stop back next time in Salem.

We had a wonderful dinner at Ricky’s English Pub today.
The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for. It felt like a pub right out of London.
The food was excellent! I ordered the special which was a honey pecan crusted salmon and it was so delicious.
The value was very good. We thought the prices for the meals was reasonable and the prices for the beer was good.
The drink selection was good. They have a variety of domestic and imported beers and a section specifically for English beers. Was enjoyable.
The service was excellent. Friendly and prompt without being too intrusive. Our server did an excellent job and made the experience special.
This was our very first visit here but most definitely will not be our last. Thanks for a great meal and time.

Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Lobster bisque so buttery and flavorful. Salmon was a good portion, creme brulee was excellent! Great place to meet friends for a quality dinner. Will be back for sure.

Food is good here. But to say you don’t have seating for 5 (3 of which were children) when there are booths wide open is crazy. Didn’t even offer for us to wait until something supposedly opened. Seemed as though children weren’t welcome. Won’t be back.

The food was amazing. Had French Onion Soup for my starter. Had Guinness Fish and Chips for my entrée. Pumpkin pie was dessert. The fish Icelandic Cod in Guinness beer batter. The place was amazing with the decor and was lucky to get a parking spot just down from the restaurant.
