Most of this review is simply because Julie was so kind and helpful during my visit. I got my food to go but she was so helpful walking me through options, specials, etc. A discount for healthcare workers would be nice. I’m glad I tried this place and will be back for empanadas and the daily specials!

I went in today for the first time to try their steak sandwich and I give it a 5 on a scale from 1 to 10 the taste was there but that steak was very chewy and a little hard. They need to cook the steak a little longer maybe in a pressure cooker to make it more tender so that it’s not so chewy when you eat it. Please make your steak a little more tender.

Ricky’s Cuban Cafe has that rare neighborhood charm where the food feels honest and the prices make you smile before you even take a bite. The place has an easygoing vibe, the kind where you can sit down for a quick meal and somehow end up lingering because everything tastes like it was made by someone who genuinely cares. The standout for me is the Spanish tortilla, and it is wildly good for how inexpensive it is.
The tortilla comes out warm thick and perfectly set, with that classic blend of potatoes and eggs cooked to a texture that falls right between tender and hearty. There is no dryness, no shortcuts, just that traditional slow-cooked feel that lets the flavors settle into each other. For something so simple, it carries a depth that only comes from making it the right way. Every slice tastes like it was prepared thoughtfully, not rushed.
The part that makes it even better is the price. It is one of the cheapest items on the menu, but it could easily compete with dishes at places charging double. You get real value here without sacrificing quality, and that balance is a big part of why Ricky’s Cuban Cafe stands out.
Friendly staff, fast service, and food that feels true to its roots. Five stars without hesitation, and the Spanish tortilla alone is enough reason to keep coming back.

A local favorite! Ricky’s is one of those hometown favorites where you can get a delicious breakfast sandwich or visit for a quick lunch and enjoy the variety of their hot bar! A wide variety of empanadas, platters with chicken or pork or steak/beef. They have indoor and a small outdoor seating area, the staff is always very friendly and helpful and the food hits the spot! Can’t wait to come back

Great little spot for breakfast or lunch, good food and very welcoming, the menu has different options and definitely good coffee. They’ve been there for years so you know that due to its longevity, they are a place to check out for yourself. They also have outside seating if you want to bring your four legged family member. Enjoy

Great fresh food made here. Delicious pressed Cuban sandwich and amazing sweet plantains (with a little salt).

My goodness! What a great experience finding this place all the way from Virginia. We’ve been to quite a few Cuban restaurants in the area, but the flavors and the food here was above them all. Great menu and the service was awesome. Thanks to Julie, Tony, and Dagne for making this experience a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back for more. I totally recommend this place.

Stopped in here after reading the reviews. I ordered the Ricky Best Pork sandwich all-the-way and a Cafe Con Leche. The sandwich was okay, but the pork lacked flavor. It just tasted liked wet shredded roasted pork. There was no flavor in it at all. It was disappointing. The Cafe Con Leche was decent, but it was extremely hot. From the reviews, a lot of people like this place. Maybe there isn’t any other Cuban restaurants in the area.

Place is slow, expensive and the ladies behind the counter got that attitude
Went in this morning for a quick to go order of bread and pastries
20 min later the order is still in the oven.
Atrendant rolling her eyes when I ask for my order. Ended up refunding me for the pastries that never received
What a joke. Airport prices and slow service with an attitude. Just about any other Cuban bakery will be better

Worst Media Noche sandwitch ever. $10 for a non season and barely any ingredients. Won’t return again!
