Lived in the immediate areas my entire life and always assumed this place was only a bar. Well now I live basically across the street and I had to go check out this bay famous garlic fried chicken I’ve been hearing about.
We decided to go with the small bucket of garlic fried chicken that comes with 8 potato wedges which are 2 large potatoes that have been qartered. We couldn’t be more pleased with what we received. The flavors of the wedges are great and last. Not like other chicken chains where it seems like you’re eating straight potatoes. The chicken was heavily seasoned with garlic but surprisingly it’s not overpowering at all. The garlic goes with the fried flavor perfectly. The chicken was moist and juicy and very meaty. I will be back with out a doubt . It’s a very home-style joint that serves up some great comfort food and with relatively good prices. The small bucket with 8 wedges was 16 bucks and the regular chicken is 15 I believe .

Garlic Fried Chicken Dinner with Potato wedges was great. It took an hour to get. But they let us know that it would, when we ordered it. If you’ve been here before you know that if your whole table orders chicken it takes about an hour. The good thing is they have a good bar, with a great bartender to socialize while you wait.

They have fantastic fried chicken, but very average pasta. I personally wasn’t a fan of the pasta sauce, but everything else was great. Soup and salad with each meal was very on point. I would come back, I just would go for the chicken.

This place is actually my neighbor. Has been for almost 36 years. Family owned and run. They are known and loved by this community. The chicken is so good. It’s not a cookie cutter recipe either. The batches differ from time to time. But always delish.

We have eaten here often since the 1970’s! Owned by the same family the entire time. Good comfort food, quiet atmosphere, lots of locals. Really good food and one of the few places where you still get a cup of soup and a small salad with each meal. Friendly staff!

Ricky’s corner is probably the best well-kept secret in rodeo. In my opinion they have the best fried chicken in the region. Their small bucket has eight pieces of chicken and wedge potatoes. I don’t think they ever advertise.it’s a local dive. Great customer service great food

On Father’s Day me and my family tried to call in a pick up order since my grandparents used to enjoy this place years ago. We promptly started calling after 5pm when they supposedly opened but it would either ring and go to voicemail or we would get a busy signal. We figured they must have been helping other customers and decided to drive from our home in Tiburon to order in person. Once we arrived, it was obvious that they were closed- no note on the door as to why, nor even having the courtesy of letting customers know on their voicemail. I called and left a voicemail with a request to be called back, but of course, they did not even have the respect to do that. I would certainly give them 0 stars if I could. Their chicken is average, I was only taking my grandparents there because they used to come when they lived here in California but this definitely left a stain in our perception of this place- it has certainly gone down hill.
