Look, this is probably the worst food place we’ve eaten at, and it will be the last time we eat here. We received our food, half of my chicken wasn’t fully cooked, and our green beans were cold. Health department should consider coming here checking it out it was gross! And has this place ever heard of a thank you? And a you’re welcome? Obviously not it was rude and disrespectful

My wife and I ate here last Friday evening. When we came in, we asked one of the other patrons if we were supposed to seat ourselves as we saw no signs indicating the protocol. After seating ourselves, a teen waitress came to take our order. She was friendly, although not very familiar with the menu. She explained that they were very busy and running low on dishes. My wife ordered french toast and water to drink. I ordered a mountain dew and the 16 oz ribeye which came with a salad, choice of potato and coffee or tea, and we shared an order of onion rings. The salad came out first and was simply pieces of iceberg lettuce with crackers on the side….nothing else. Next came the onion rings….they were a bit dark/overcooked but still tasted decent. I had ordered the steak medium and it came to me rare. I had also ordered mashed potatoes with gravy but received hash browns instead. I queried the waitress about them and she asked if I still wanted mashed potatoes, to which I said, “yes”. After receiving our food, the waitress never stopped by our table again. I had gotten my mountain dew(in a can), but never got the iced tea I ordered. My wife was happy enough with her french toast but I thought the steak was below average, the hash browns had a plastic taste to them, and of course, the onion rings were a bit over cooked. Mashed potatoes were fine. When we were almost finished with the meal, we were wondering if we were supposed to get up and pay at the register and overheard other customers talking about how they don’t take credit cards there. What?! There were no signs on the door, nor did the waitress say anything about it. To me, that’s unacceptable. Let people know about it! I had to drive up the street to an ATM. I liked the atmosphere of the place, but my food was below average and not telling people about the no credit cards is just plain dumb. How hard is it to put a sign on the door?

We had chicken fried steak and grilled chicken sandwich. We also had the loaded baked potatoes. Food and service were ok. Portions were small and food was kind of plain but tasted good. Good prices.

Ricky’s catered our wedding reception, and it was excellent! The people are friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were hard to beat. We had several people come up to us and tell us how good the food was. Booking them as a caterer was about as easy as it gets, and their friendly staff made every step of the way as easy as possible for us. Yummy food, caring people, great prices–Ricky’s was an excellent choice!
