*Just an FYI, until noon they only serve breakfast and burgers.*
Traveling through and stopped at this ‘real’ diner. I don’t usually order breakfast for lunch, but I did. I ordered a half order biscuits and gravy, added a scrambled egg and a side of bacon. It was tasty, just felt a tad bit more gravy would’ve been better. Most places only give you two slices bacon, this place was three. Food was tasty.
Restroom was pretty clean. I thought the pink tile and sink/fixtures were cool too.

We always love going to Rick’s when we are back in town. It has a classic American meal menu. We ordered the country fried steak, side of cottage cheese, grilled cheese/fries, and kids cheeseburger meal/fries. The kids meal comes with a bag of cookies (Oreo and chocolate chip). The waitresses are always so friendly and it’s your typical small-town diner.

Love this spot! Food was delicious, service was phenomenal. It’s everything you could ever want in a diner. I’ll be making the hour drive to eat there again!!!

Great food and great staff. Sadly, the building is just small. So it can’t fit a big crowd of people. Still, it’s worth the wait. We waited an hour and an half and we were still happy. The staff ran around like crazy keeping up but still were friendly and considerate. There had been gunk in my water and on the Rim of my cup. Only mine, not the others I was with. When we pointed it out to the waitstaff, she was flabbergasted but immediately got me a new one. She even checked it ti make sure nothing was in it. She was great. The food was phenomenal. By that I really mean the burgers. They were perfect. And not burnt at all. French fries and onion rings were fine. Not outstanding, but the burger and mushrooms made up for it exponentially! Plus, the food is not outrageous price. You are getting what you paid for and its worth it. Its nice to have a place give you a good burger for a good price and not hurt the pocket. If I lived nearby, I’d be a regular. Not to mention, I ordered a burger and got one, not a cheeseburger. The staff person even knew the difference which is perfect at a burger joint. Not just asuming I mean cheeseburger when I say hamburger. I do plan to come back and get another burger too.

Went in for dinner. Pork chops and baked potato were cold and flavorless. More of a pork tenderloin than a chop. Hamburger meat tasted old and nothing was seasoned. Salad bar was okay, but half of it was empty or the food had been on there so long it looked glazed over. Had to ask for lettuce. It was not busy at all.

This is a spot-on local community cafe, with local flavor where everyone has worked here at one time or another.

The food was delicious, but the portion size was tiny. I had breakfast and I had a tiny single layer of hash browns. I wish I had spoken up when I got my food, but I let them know I’d try one more time, then no more breakfasts at Rick’s if it was the same. It’s disappointing to leave hungry. My bad for not speaking up, but I won’t do that again. Love the great food, just not satisfied with the portion sizes. Yes, the prices reflect everywhere else…they’re higher, so it wasn’t cheaper so less food.

Just passing through so only one experience but it was a little less than I’d expected. The folks were very pleasant but the food lacked in about every way. The burger that claimed to be bison (and wasn’t) was seriously overcooked to the point of being crispy charred. The tater tots were cooked until dry and hard. Kind of a cool old diner but the food was all cooked to death, maybe I just got a bad day.

The staff was great. My server Sydney was amazing. It was the perfect place that I needed. The guests were even amazing. If happen to be in Pratt or just driving thru, you need to visit here. Thank you Sydney and the rest of you for a very good visit.

I wish every town had a diner like Rick’s! Everytime we go to Haviland, we always eat here! The wait staff is great and the food always fills our stomachs and the atmosphere fills our hearts. Good people serving, cooking and sitting around the tables! And get a cinnamon roll!!
