We stopped in while visiting Humboldt and decided to try this place based on other reviews.
The mango Lassi was very refreshing.
The shrimp pakora was very flavorful and juicy. Our mains were fish Madras (8/10), very spicy and delicious and goat vindaloo (8/10) with tender chunks of goat and super flavorful. Those were served with steamed rice and garlic butter naan (so good, we got 2).

What a surprising gem to find in Humboldt! We recently moved from Edmonton and were looking for a Mother’s Day lunch spot. We expected a fun run-of-the-mill hamburger/pizza joint but were pleasantly surprised to discover the Indian cuisine menu along with western fare. The meals we had were absolutely delicious – the best Indian food we’ve had in years! Service was extremely friendly, food was served piping hot and the atmosphere was delightfully relaxing. We will definitely be back – sooon!!!

Rick’s Indian food is absolutely second to none. I couldn’t believe it – a place this good in small town Saskatchewan? It’s authentic, delicious, and the portions are huge. I’ve tried a lot of Indian restaurants in big cities, and this is on-par with the very best of them. They have a menu full of Indian and Western cuisine, and it’s all delicious. The service is great, and the place is super cute! Great for eat in or takeout.

Stopped in for an afternoon snack. Had French fries and a coke. It was my first time visiting the area so I did a google search on restaurants in town and was excited to see a nice old school diner style place show up. I liked the décor of the place but it is quite run down overall. A little face lift might do well to keep traffic flow up and bring in more potential visitors. The menu was interesting given the range of cuisine but I think that’s awesome. It’s nice to have options and the chance to try other things one might not often experience. It’s a nice little surprise. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere left me with a feeling of comfort and a sense that I could just relax and be in my own world for a bit. Gave me some time to destress and recharge. I hope to visit again sometime and see this spot thrive.

I had the chicken curry with potato, and butter naan bread and it was very good! My wife had the chicken burger and she could hardly cut the burger in half because the batter was overcooked and rock hard! Decor and attention to detail is lacking throughout the restaurant, menu is very large with lots of options, but we would go back for the Indian cuisine.

The service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Food came out reasonably fast and was fresh and hot. It was really very good. We had aloo muttar, and lamb Biryani. They were both good but the Biryani was SO good. The lamb was so soft and delicious and crunchy onions on top made it extra special. Forgot a picture of the Biryani. Will eat here again if I am in town 🙂
