Cheap prices, excellent customer service and THE BOMB frozen custard! Banana Pudding Concrete and the Hot Fudge Brownie sundae had us punching the air with joy while riding down Airline Blvd. Love this place. Always have, always will. The best!

Poor customer service
I visited your location on Sunday, January 11, and had an extremely disappointing experience in the drive-thru.
After being given a menu and placing my order, I asked about a charge difference on my bill. The employee assisting me responded rudely and stated that it was not her problem, claiming she was the manager. Due to her behavior, I requested to speak with another manager.
I then spoke with another employee who also claimed to be a manager and repeated that the issue was not her problem. She stated she would provide the manager’s contact information but later said she could not and that the manager did not want to speak with me.
This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and willingness to resolve a simple concern was unacceptable. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

I am leaving this review based on my experiences from 2007-2012. This eas hands down the best sweet treat spot around. Im pleasantly surprised to see that Rick’s is still making smiles. We ate there once a week religiously and it was always top tier. Probably the worst and best part of my diet

Went on a Sunday afternoon and only a handful of people waiting. 3 girls working. Waited over 20 minutes and overheard others commenting on slow it was. The chili dog was absolutely disgusting and no napkins were provided. Went to the window to ask for a napkin or paper towel and although they saw me waiting (one made eye contact and smirked, then went to the back), no one came to the window to see if anything was needed. Custard was OK but due to horrific service and attitude we will never return.

One of my all time favorite ice cream places. Was brought here as a child to now I take my kids and grand kids here. Custards are out of this world. Got to try it. Gets busy during the summer but worth the wait. A hometown treasure.

I didn’t get any ice-cream today , just a lemonade and a BBQ sandwich. I dont get to often but their BBQ is good, I assume it’s a Carolina BBQ. Prices aren’t to bad especially for current times but I feel like the potion was smaller than I remember. I thought my sandwich was on a slider bun when I unwrapped it. So that surprised me but the bbq was good, service was quick, and the young lady was friendly that took my order.

I’ve been enjoying their custard for many years, but this Sunday afternoon I made a special trip from out of town and it was not as good as past visits, when I took the top off the Sunday there were barely three spoonfuls of custard in it. I understand everyone is downsizing but I expected to have a full cup of custard. Very disappointing! I won’t be going back. (Pictures are BEFORE I ate any.)

The best frozen custard (or ice cream) place in the area. Everything is delicious and they do not skimp on the toppings or mix-ins. The employees are friendly as well. The only negatives are the long lines (because they’re good!) and the lack of tables to eat on site.
