In the area for vacation, I was really craving something local and homemade found Ricks Cafe on google, decided to check it out and I can say they were above and beyond what I thought I was getting! Our server Emma was super sweet and personable with us, the food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back. I wish I had something like this closer to home.

My family and I decided to have dinner here after googling and learning they have 4.6 stars. We definitely see why. On Sunday closing is at 8pm, we walked in around 7:05pm. At 7:50pm we have eaten our dinner and dessert! The food was amazing! Customer service was great! Tessa is amazing! We are gonna come back for breakfast tomorrow!

This place was not my family’s original plan for Mother’s Day brunch. My older brother lives in VA Beach and knows where good local spots are and let me tell you, this place is awesome. We got seated fairly quick unlike the other restaurant we left from (2hr wait). The staff was friendly and always checked on us. We ordered breakfast food but they also had lunch menu. Everything was delish. My son loved their fried pickles and boudin balls, the sauces were delicious! Overall, highly recommend this place if you want great service and delicious food.

Stopped here in my way out of Virginia Beach. It was wonderful! The waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently and the food was just as good as the service. The waitress got our orders and brought our food out in a very timely manner and it was delicious. I got a chocolate chip pancake and tater tots. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing. 10/10 recommend!

We on a whim stopped her on our way home from the beach. I am so sad we just discovered it before we left and only ate there once. This little spot will definitely be on our radar next time we are in Virginia Beach. Homecooked flavor everything was super fresh, so many side options, hush puppies were amazing. Burger was huge cooked right and flavorful. Chicken fried chicken with a white homemade gravy was so good. Fries we had sweet potato and regular at our table and both were crispy and delicious. Waitress was very accommodating. Never had to ask for a refill it just came. Wonderful little spot and not too pricey either

While in Virginia Beach, we found this little dive place called Rick’s Cafe. We have noticed it year after year, but finally decided to go in and give it a try for breakfast one morning. It has tables and booths to sit it. It is family run. The waitresses were AWESOME! The food was great! My scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuit was buttered and grilled! The home fries were delish!!! The bacon was nice and CRISP! And the prices were very reasonable! We will be back to Rick’s Cafe whenever we are in Virginia Beach again!

Stopped here while in VA for a wrestling tournament and was not disappointed! The food was great, typical breakfast diner food. The service was absolutely outstanding! If the waitress couldn’t see my coffee from across the room she would rush over and top me off. $66 fed a family of 6 for breakfast, excellent and highly recommend!!!
