Very great atmosphere, delicious food, and our waitress Karen went above and beyond to make our first experience enjoyable! She was very knowledgeable in the restaurants history, gave us background on the owner, gave great detail on how the food is prepared, and even shared the weekday specials with us! Don’t bother going to any other breakfast spot in Virginia. Once you come here plan your time around this café it’ll be the best decision you make your entire vacation. You can always tell when food is prepared with love and this is it. Absolutely a wonderful experience

Our waitress provided suggestions for our kiddos and happily allowed us to substitute items. I had the chicken fried chicken, sweet pot fries, coleslaw and Texas toast! It was all very good. We ordered three meals and one drink and it was very affordable, especially being that close to the ocean front.

I’ve been here before. I love breakfast food! I love food! But for some people, this is for the people who don’t cook much. Always referring to, ‘They have the best this and that!’ I get it. But to put forth the effort to get dressed, drive to this place which is way out of my driving comfort zone for just breakfast and then ordering breakfast. I don’t know if it’s worth all of my time. I get it when people have their favorites and what’s the best for them. This is a google review. I’ve been there and I’m not here to trash the place, but the food wasn’t that memorable whereby I was disappointed by my co-workers’ best recommendations and never went back. I don’t even work with this person anymore. I do remember the place though. And it was so long ago and it’s still around. So good for you guys! If I ever make it back from eating at more breakfast nooks in my lifetime, I’ll have to remember what was so great about the place.

This place has really great food and great but I can say that the rest room had a very unpleasant smell smh ♀️ It was not very clean. There wasn’t any toilet paper or any napkins or even soap to sanitize my hands. My husband called a week ahead to book a table for our family after our elopement so I expected better.
