It was a great experience, haven’t been to a Dog N Suds since we were very young. It didn’t disappoint, still full of the drive in charm. Chilli dogs and root beer, what more could you want?

I always forget to get a pic before we start eating! We got the brats and tots!! Both were excellent! Great taste on the brats- they had sauerkraut! The tots were done perfectly! Crispy on the outside and hot and softer on the inside. Shop local! Recommend!!

Stopped here for a quick meal on our way to Chicago and was absolutely delighted! The food was pretty standard “American” food: hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, fries, shakes, etc. The service was quick and nice. I loved their blended ice cream thing. It’s like a blizzard or concrete mixer, but it was maybe the best version I’ve had. Definitely recommend this place!

You don’t come here for a heart healthy, diabetic friendly meal. You come for the experience of Americana and that’s exactly what you get and it’s served up in all of its glory steeped in nostalgia. I’m glad a few still exist as they used to be everywhere when I was a kid and the root beer is top notch. The dogs are Vienna Beef which is a plus. Extra-friendly service and very dog friendly. Long live Dn’S!

Neat drive in, also picnic tables. Chili dog was delicious! Was busy so waited about 20 mins for food to be done.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place was a big disappointment unfortunately. I wanted to go next door originally, but my husband wanted to just grab takeout. Mistake! The staff were nice but they seemed frazzled. Seems like management needs to get a better system in place for taking orders and delivering food. Wait times were okay too, but the real letdown was the food quality, especially since prices weren’t cheap. The fries were decent, as were the pretzel bites, but the cheese sauce lacked flavor. The burgers were probably the biggest disappointment. And for some reason my husband’s had no toppings on it. His coney dog was $9 and looked pretty sad too. The large root beer float ($7!) was tasty, but way overpriced in my opinion. Cute vibes and all that, but this place was a miss for us!

This is a fun place that we stop at while doing our long rides. There’s so few of these left in the country. It’s worth stopping for the nostalgia!

This is a great place – food is great and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Have been stopping here for many years on the way to and back from Wisconsin trips. The root beer floats are great. Their car show cruise nights are really good. Plenty of people and awesome cars. One of my favorite places.

Delicious comfort food, great service (new management), large menu variety, and fair prices. I strongly recommend the coney dog with tots and any type of floats. Perfect for a quick bite or just to chill out.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to this particular dog n suds and things have changed since I was here last.
First, service is slow. I waited at a picnic table outside for about 15 minutes for service that never came. I walked up to the kitchen and place my order where they said they were just about to come to the table. Maybe.
Second, I ordered a foot-long coney dog, tater tots and a root beer. 20 bucks and 25 minutes later I got my food. Remember I mentioned slow service? Definitely don’t come with a car load of ouchie kids.
Lastly, although impressive looking, the jumbo foot-long hotdog completely ruined the chili ratio in the sandwich. Like I said, I haven’t been here in a couple years and that foot-long Coney dog had a standard size not jumbo hotdog. And if you like that jumbo kind of thing, then you may like it. For me, the chili got lost and then what’s the point of a coney dog.
