Small-town diner with prices you can’t beat.

My wife had a French dip sandwich made with good quality beef. It didn’t have a lot of excess fat that you sometimes see.
I had two eggs over easy with bacon and bread. The bacon was nice and crisp. Breakfast menu is available all day.

Coffee was $1.50, and a generous slice of pie was $2.50. When was the last time you’ve seen those kind of prices?
We took a slice of apple and one of rhubarb/strawberry pie home with us. We would definitely eat there again.

Perfect lunch spot on the river. Friendly staff and great food for a reasonable price. And they have Red Bull, which is great when you’re out riding. Looking forward to my next visit!

This place was recommended to us by family member. Young, high school girls working this joint, pretty inattentive, maybe because it’s Sunday and adults need day off. No greeting or anything when you walk in. Ordered desert, never got it obviously they forgot. Had to get up and remind myself to them that I should pay the bill, I doubt they’d realize if I walked out without paying. Prices are alright. I guess this is the „it” place for locals, not for me. Pardon my big city manners and years of restaurant experience.

The food was fantastic. I greatly enjoyed my French dip with fries. The food was made well and came out hot. The fish sandwich looked good and the readymade sandwich looked fantastic as well. It’s got a homey atmosphere with friendly faces. I would highly recommend stopping in for some quality food. Also, dining with a great view of the river is pretty cool too.

What a find Richman’s Cafe was the best went for a Quick small river town breakfast and got what I was looking for biscuits and gravy with coffee and tax under $7 The service food and location was great

I’m from the Chicagoland taking a drive through the Driftless Area today and came here for breakfast. Wow was I pleased. I had their “The Mess” I think it’s called with extra mushrooms, onions and sausage gravy. If this place was closer to me in Illinois I’d come here again.
