Great food and excellent service. I sat outside with my dog. Kyle, our waiter, brought out a bowl of water for my dog without my even asking.
I’m impressed that they reserve two parking spots right up front for Purple Heart Veterans and offer 10% veteran discount.
Be aware that they’ve fallen into the current trend of charging the customer 4% extra to pay by credit card.
I don’t approve of this practice and have chosen to stop patronizing restaurants that do.

We were looking for a place that serves breakfast a little later in the day. We chose Richi’s Diner on Bell in Surprise. It was very good. The portions were large. The servers were very efficient and friendly. I had an omelet, which was cooked just right. They balanced out the ingredients not to overtake the eggs. In other words, I could find the eggs in my omelet. I also had the pancakes, which were good, but I don’t understand why they don’t serve them with warmed syrup. My husband had the steak and eggs and the steak was flavorful. The plates were really large. The soda water was free, which is good.

First visit looking to try their breakfast. I sat at the bar, and ordered the Richi’s Choice, water, and orange juice. The eggs came out as ordered – over medium, and the hash browns were fine. As for the meats, the bacon was crisp; good; and had a slight taste of smokiness. The sausage was fine, but the ham was not that good. The ham was thin, and tasted like your store lunch meat. A little disappointing with that and the orange juice that tasted it was made from concentrate. The biscuit that came with breakfast was a bit small, dense, and not fresh. The only choices for jams or jellies were strawberry and grape. No orange marmalade; no mixed berry; no blackberry; or apple. My check after tax + fee came to $20.29. Service was fine. Elsa was named on the check, but there was another lady who helped. The restaurant is clean, and offers adequate seating inside and outside. I couldn’t answer for the cleanliness of the restrooms. Parking appears sufficient being located in a mall. Would I come back for breakfast another time? I don’t think so from the limited menu items I noticed. They have specials each day of the week for lunch, and dinner(?). You decide for yourself in dining here. I think you can do much better for breakfast elsewhere… AZ Diner, or Campbell’s are two places far better than Richi’s.

We love to try places we haven’t been to before. Richi’s Diner sounded promising due to all the 5 star reviews. We had to try our go-to meals, which are biscuits and gravy and eggs benedict. The food was good and plentiful. As always, my daughter always has a coffee drink, which she enjoyed! Our server was pleasant. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that both our plates had chips on all the corners of the plates, which could lead to health risks.

Great food and reasonable prices. The staff are friendly, not fake. Its a comfortable place in the middle of Surprise. Not upscale, not a dive, the sweet spot in between. Sit down relax and enjoy some good food. I had breakfast.

Great diner for breakfast. Everything we’ve had has been good. I like their Rueben for lunch. My wife LOVES the Gyro for lunch! Staff is very friendly and helpful. We like to go at off times because they can be busy at peak hours. If busy, sit at the bar, and Theresa will take good care of you.

Servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean. The food is just bad. We found multiple hairs in our food. The hot coffee tasted like water. The hash browns were bland and soft. The ham was burnt and taste/texture was horrible. The pancakes were fine. We paid $1 extra for chocolate chips and they forgot for one of them. It’s pricey here and it was just not worth it at all.

Breakfast is served all day, and my friends each ordered breakfast for lunch. I enjoyed the clam chowder and a tuna melt. Both the soup and the sandwich were hot and full of flavour.
The server was attentive and thorough. They did a great job keeping our coffee cups full and engaged the table frequently.
The restaurant gives the impression that this is not a franchised cookie-cutter chain, and that’s a good thing! My friends and I will be returning.

First time here. Nice atmosphere, busy. Never heard of a breakfast quesadilla before, ordered it. And oh my word best tasting breakfast I’ve ever had The quesadilla was absolutely awesome.
