Cash only. Free orange tasted like was from west side market on Saturday after it closed. I like good Chinese food. This ain’t that.

We ordered Egg Foo Young and it had a weird taste – like cigarette ash. Gave the place a second chance months later (not sure why) and had the same result. Nice people but sorry, we won’t be back.

Delicious rich authentic Chinese food at bargain basement prices! Clevelanders are so fortunate to have a culinary treasure in its diverse Asia town but the real gem is Richie Chan’s in Cleveland Heights. We have eaten Chinese cuisine all over the world & my girlfriend, a CIA grad from New Hyde Park, has been eating here for the past 15 years since she moved back home to Cleveland & this is her favorite place. A single couple run the restaurant with the wife doing prep work, taking phone orders & making change while her husband does all the cooking… to order. This time we got Won ton soup, subgum Cantonese vegetables, yang chow fried rice & steamed dumplings. It was all tasty & filling (we had seconds) & they are so generous with their portions we have enough for dinner again tonight! They also include at no charge fortune cookies & sweet navel oranges. They offer enough variety to satisfy the entire range of taste buds. For the superb quality & bounteous quantity of food, you will never be disappointed at Richie Chan’s. Qing man yong!

My family has gotten food here multiple times and it’s always good- when they actually get our order right. Every time we get something here, at least one dish is made wrong, or is even the completely wrong meal. The people working there correct it every time, but this pattern has not stopped. I do enjoy the lo mein when I actually get that instead of another random dish, though.

The food is wonderful!! Authentic Cantonese food that reminds me of home. The owners are incredibly nice. I regularly drive 20 minutes for the food and the people there. Highly recommend!!

For the money, this place is very good. The lo mien has been very good. ALSO, this is the *only* place I’ve found in east side that makes an authentic Shrimp and Lobster sauce. I get it without peas and carrots, and extra sesame oil. It’s really very good every time so far. Even better than some of the chinatown places, no kidding.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken and a veggie egg roll to go. The chicken was premixed with the sauce so no surprise that it was completely soggy when I got home. Sauce had little flavor. The egg roll was awesome though! Good prices. But the place looked pretty messy. Wont go back myself but could see ppl liking other dishes
