I tried the mashed potatoes and it is salty. Also, the cesar salad is a little bit salty. The french fries is not tasty and served a little bit cold.

Very prompt and friendly service. The Woodstock Inn is gorgeous and the tavern has very cozy ambience. Mixed drinks were good a bit pricey but heavy pours. Menu had some fun takes on traditional tavern fare.

Excellent dinner experience — took care of our family well including our two loud toddler boys. Great restaurant for foodies and families.

This is a nice place for casual dining. Not a huge selection, but the dishes we had were tasty–potato soup, flatbread appetizer with mozzarella cheese and salad on it, seafood stew and salad with grilled salmon.

This is a great spot at the Woodstock Inn. A cozy, more laid back interior with a homey menu and nice drink selection. Staff were courteous and helpful. A very nice alternative setting to contrast the more formal environment.

When I saw the menu here, I was really anxious because I have severe food allergies and several of my allergens were on the menu. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the staff were. I got a delicious bowl of pasta with a side of heaping seasoned veggies. It was a delicious meal. My mother got the roasted chicken, which was delicious and was plated beautifully. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and overall we had a great meal. Will definitely be returning!

Very poor-quality food and drinks. I ordered my usual go-to, a Lemon Drop cocktail, but it was so bad that I considered sending it back–something I’ve never done with a cocktail. Food was really bland and very overcooked. The atmosphere is nice, however, and our server was friendly and competent. But the terrible food and drinks were not worth the hour long wait and $100+ cost of our meal. Will not go return.

We sat outside, very pleasant, summer afternoon. Ordered the cheese fondue, it was a lot! Sort of interesting, never had pickles In a cheese fondue. Service was friendly and efficient. We were not staying at the Inn, so we had to figure out where to find theTavern. It’s to the right and back when comming in the front door.

Exquisite ambience with a rathskeller feel, waitress was pleasant and helpful but it took almost an hour before the entrees were served and the food was tepid. The basics are there but behind the curtain something is missing.
