Definitely alot of Food…
The Shrimp Cocktail was Good minus all the Bay Shrimp this would have been Better with 2 more shrimp 4 Total
The Albondigas ( Meatball Soup ) was Ok the Meatballs were Dry and kind of Bland Soup Broth was ok definitely needed more pepper

My Wife ordered a Medium Seared… 9|10
I ordered Medium Rare 6|10 very chewy
Mash Potatoes 6|10
Baked Potato 10|10
Beans 6|10
Zucchini 3|10
Bread 8|10

It was a very loud restaurant. For almost an hour we had to hear about this guy’s life story because he was only four seats across from us. I learned that if you ask your wife 15 times for sex she willl finally give in. I was hoping the restaurant would have told the guy to keep it down people are trying to enjoy their evening. The gentleman who finished before us even acknowledge thank you for the entertainment.

And they don’t offer Military Discounts which is a huge red flag for me.

Took my Wife for Birthday Dinner. Haven’t been there for years. Didn’t disappoint.
Our Waitress was great! Great service , busboys were on it.
Food was cooked perfect! I had Ribeye my wife had Lamb Chops. Only thing I could say was could have used more salt and pepper before they cooked.
They gave my wife a birthday Sundae with candle. And a Happy Birthday wine glass.
Nice touch Richard’s! We will be back soon.

I haven’t been to Richard’s in 10 – 15 years. I can report that it is just as good today as it was back then. We were a party of 5. Two of us had lobster, one had shrimp, one had stake and the other was a 12 year old and had a small stake. There were no complaints.

First of all, let me say Richard’s is a Fresno staple. I first started going here over 35 years ago when Richard was making his customers feel very welcomed, and he was pleased to see you every time with a big smile on his face. It has not changed. The third generation is now running Richard’s steakhouse and seafood. The setting is very intimate.The service is great. The food is delicious and plenty of it. The dinner started out with a hot basket of garlic bread and a shrimp cocktail. Then the salad came out, which was fresh and chilled. The 14oz prime rib was done to perfection served with baked potato and green beans. The 8oz bacon wrapped filet mignon was also done to perfection. Then, for dessert, we had a chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. I can not believe Richard’s still has this high quality of dining and service after all these years. Richard’s TOP NOTCH!!!! Thank you for making our 33-year anniversary so special .

There are paintings of topless women all the way around the dining room. Odor of standing water coming from the kitchen, pepper grinder looked like it was dropped in somebody’s food, and the prime rib just ok. Definitely not the best food in town. This place could use an update.

This is a classic steakhouse, doing steaks right. The shrimp cocktail was so good, traditional cocktail sauce, not the sickly sweet stuff that you get find at other places. We stopped here on a visit to Fresno, and Iso glad we did. Portions are good size. I had the Ribeye but others in our party had the halibut, and I was eyeballing their plates because it looked and smelled so good, and it was a good portion as well.
