I went back for a second round, alas this time it was less than great: I asked for a rare burger, it arrived well-well done, and as dry as my mother in law cooking. Everything else was good to great, but I couldn’t finish that burger. Picture included this time

To my surprise, this was formerly Marie’s and that was the last time my son and I visited. I was thinking to myself that the directions were familiar. I guess Marie’s was not generational after all.
Anywho, you can seat yourself and we were given menus right ▶️ away and asked what we wanted to drink.
I had the Veggie Omelette with mushrooms, olives and spinach. It came with a side of home fries and sourdough toast. My son had a blueberry pancake with a scrambled egg and a side of fruit .
The coffee ☕ was good and it came with refills.
The WiFi worked well. The bathroom was in good condition.
I am going to recommend this place for breakfast. If I have a chance, I will check ✔️ this restaurant out for lunch.

we wasn’t a fan of the homefries too much onion flavor for us.
Other than that everything was delish

This used to be Marie’s and was a tried-and-true staple in the community. It hasn’t changed much since it’s become Richards. The interior got freshened up a bit, which was nice. The food is still great and the service is also fantastic.

Cleanest diner I’ve ever been in! My hands didn’t even get sticky using the syrup for my French toast! Food was AMAZING & portions were HUGE!! Service was spot on! Never had to ask for a coffee refill, they were always checking in. 100% recommend this exceptional diner.

* Menu should read “HUGE pancakes”. They were buttermilk and they were fluffy. Also got the strawberries (I messed them up b/f the pic ).

Ive had the Irish eggs benedict and the reuben so far and both were phenomenal. I’ve gotten these two meals at a lot of restaurants from salisbury to kingston nh. This place is easily top 2, on par with Bensons in Kingston.

Had the sirloin tip Caesar salad, it was great, more than I expected in qty and quality. Open at 5:45 AM, good place to grab breakfast before work or if you’re on vacation then before the crowds.

Absolutely best breakfast we’ve had all year! Just happened upon this place because we don’t enjoy many of the breakfast places in Hampton beach (we were spending the night) so we drove and found this spot. Super clean and cute inside. Exceptionally friendly staff. The food was a 10 out of 10. The cream cheese stuffed French toast was unreal! Will be back next year when we head up that way!
