My first visit was a nice experience. I ordered a margarita and it was standard. The highlight was the live band and the artistic decor. The wait staff was friendly, my server seemed slightly aggressive about ordering food and drinks. The ladies restroom stopped working and I had to use the men’s. I thought their restroom looked much better than the ladies. Overall, it was a nice experience and I plan to come back.

Rich and Pour is an undiscovered gem in the city’s culinary scene. Although they are still ironing out some minor issues, which is to be expected from a new venture, the overall experience is promising. The Thursday evening I visited was enlivened by engaging live music and a lively crowd, enhancing the ambiance. The drinks, particularly the 1606—a masterful whiskey-based concoction—were delightful. This establishment, proudly Black-owned, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, evident in everything from the thoughtfully curated artwork to the impeccably designed bathrooms. I highly recommend visiting Rich and Pour before it inevitably becomes the city’s go-to hotspot, complete with long waiting lists and an unrivaled atmosphere.

Very nice experience. We went on Sunday for brunch. The food was GREAT!! I recommend the Southern Staple, its shrimp, fried salmon, and grits with gravy. Stop it. Staff was knowledgeable and provided good service. Hookah, music, and a live band. I was aware of it, but dont like gratuity automatically added to the bill. On top of that, a service charge also. Otherwise, it was a good time and great experience. This will be a spot next time I’m in the A.

We visited this black owned establishment on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. I made a reservation prior to on Yelp. There is free parking in front of the business. Upon arrival the business was clean, modern, and swanky. The black artwork on the walls is very beautiful and Afrocentric too. We were greeted warmly and our reservation was verified. We were seated right away at a nice table against the back wall and our waitress was Bria. She was very nice, attentive, and professional. Bria informed of us the restaurant’s 3 pillars which are they partner with black owned whiskey companies, live music is on Thursday’s, and there is a rotating chef every 10 days. They have QR code menus on the table, but it took quite a while for the menu update for us to select items. The waitress did check a couple of times to see when the menu was finally updated. Once the menu was loaded we ordered the following items: boujietta cocktail, rum punch, lamb chops with bacon hash, black and blue sliders, southwestern egg rolls, loaded mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, and elote Mexican street corn. The boujietta drink was too strong with the cognac base, but only semi sweet with fruity notes. The rum punch was a classic hit with tropical flavors and a light sweet tone. This business wasn’t busy at all during our dining experience and we felt like we were the other patrons there. There was nice r&b music playing overhead and music videos on the television. It was unfortunate that they were out of the Mac and cheese, and broccolini. I found this odd since they had just opened an hour earlier so it sounds like lack of effort to me. Also the water we were given tasted like tap water so don’t drink the water at all if you go. They seemed to be a bit on the slow side with getting food and drinks out to us so I can’t imagine how slow it is on a busy evening. The food took about 45 minutes to come out all at once. The Mexican corn was very delicious! It had amazing flavors of the cheese, spices, and buttery goodness all against the corn as the backdrop. The corn was crisp, fresh, and had nice grill lines. This dish was the best part of the meal and I would highly recommend. The egg rolls were good with a could’ve been crispier outer layer and I could definitely taste the flavors of corn and avocado. They were seasoned well and the creamy dressing sauce included was complimentary. The beef slider burgers were delicious! They were so simple, but very flavorful with the savory combination of the beef burger and bacon. The feta cheese was also a unique but nice compliment. I would also recommend these as well. The lamb chops were cooked medium well like requested and were quite tender and seasoned well. The sweet sauce included was a great contrast to the savory meat. There was way too much fat on the lollipops though. The dish came with brussel sprouts, carrots, and spinach which were just decent. The texture wasn’t bad, I didn’t feel the vegetables were anything to write home about, but the sweet sauce included helped with the taste. The loaded mashed potatoes were not really that great. They just threw some bacon and shredded cheese on top of some mashed potatoes. I didn’t really care for the texture of these mashed potatoes or the dish’s presentation. This was actually my least favorite dish and we really could’ve skipped it if they had the Mac and cheese like they were supposed to. I wouldn’t recommend that dish at all. My boyfriend said the spinach was bland and taste like they just threw vinaigrette on it. The waitress Bria did make sure she checked on us to ensure we liked our drinks and also checked to see if our food was ready so it could be brought to us. After we finished our meal I asked about a dessert menu and she said they didn’t have one. The business needs to work out the kinks with not having food items available, the speed of service, and get a dessert menu. Overall it was just an ok experience. The food was overpriced and I would only recommend a visit on a Thursday for the live music, and only a few of the food/drink items recommended.

Came here july 14 2022

This place is a must try.. First I called earlier in the day to do a reservation. They actually picked up. set my reservation.. Parking is free and it’s in a nice area of East Point. Definitely a must try. Drinks were good and not over priced. Staff had great customer service at the bar and door . I will definitely be back. Even buddy at the door checking bag was super nice…. I had the tacos which was good and they gave plenty of shrimp with it. The sliders tasted good as well. A plus for me was the bathroom was clean…

We made a last minute decision to check out Rich and Pour for brunch and we weren’t disappointed. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive. We ordered chicken and french toast and salmon and grits off the brunch menu. Both were prepared to perfection and the portion sizes were just right. The Queen Charlotte drink was delicious. Will be returning on the next visit to Atlanta.

My first time visiting. The lounge has a mature crowd, was laid back, chill and intimate atmosphere, however, food was overpriced. The Merlot wine was warm.

After the bill was paid, not long after my waitress told me that my husband and I had to move from our reserved table less than 2 hours so others can be seated.

The only reason I went to here, because my celebrity friend was having a listening party… Jase Oliver Experience

This place is a diamond in the rough! The drinks are strong, the food is great, the live music is a vibe, and our waitress treated us like Kings! Jasemine, I appreciate you for taking care of me and my brothers. We will definitely be back! Check this spot out, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I had high expectations for this place after reading some reviews, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered lunch to go, and the pulled pork was just okay, while the greens were under-seasoned. Overall, I felt the dishes were a bit overpriced for what you get. Maybe the experience is different at night with the music and atmosphere, but during my visit, the food didn’t impress.
