We are a full-service and bar restaurant in the heart of downtown Kuna, Idaho. An absolute delight from start to finish. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is so pleasant and inviting, making it a perfect place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
The food was truly outstanding. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly and topped with a creamy peppercorn cognac sauce that was rich and full of flavor. The cheesy artichoke hearts were incredible and a must-try. We also had the General Chicken, which was very delicious, along with some sushi that was fresh and wonderful.
Everything about this place hits the mark—excellent atmosphere, excellent service, and excellent food. Highly recommend and we will absolutely be back!

Update: Tonight had the Ribeye steak and the Cheesy Artichoke hearts. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had and I’m a steak lover. Perfectly cooked and loved the peppercorn sauce. The cheesy artichokes were amazing as well, the sauce is creamy and savory with a broiled crispy cheese on top. Caleb the bartender is a hoot, super attentive and quite handsome. 11/10 go here if you haven’t!

I came in on a busy Friday night and was immediately greeted and sat at the bar. I started with the Dragon Edamame, which isn’t just steamed like most other sushi places. It’s grilled and has a nice smoky flavor and is seasoned well. The miso is also delicious, whatever seasoning they use puts it over the top! I had the 911 Roll and it was also amazing, the Serrano peppers have a nice kick! Plating and presentation was impressive, along with the whole vibe of the place. I’ll be back to try everything on the menu!

Arrived just before 7pm on a Saturday evening, and was seated promptly without a reservation.
Being how late it was in the evening, we skipped the appetizer and ordered our drinks and food from our server Reychel – who was courteous, and thoughtful.
Drinks took some time to get to us for whatever reason, however it did not keep us from enjoying our time together. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, with overhead music not dominating over conversation (like other restaurants do in Kuna).
When our meals arrived, they were served hot, with great presentation, and a verbal caution from the serving staff that our plates were very hot. My Wife enjoyed the Island Mahi Mahi, accompanied by a side of Garlic Mushrooms, on a bed of fried rice (heat level:3), with her Key Lime Martini; and I enjoyed the House Fried Rice with Tri-Tip, with a glass of Chardonnay. Portion sizes offer enough to take home (which we are having for breakfast, yum!).
We did however, order their Pineapple Dream; an in-house, fresh baked, Pineapple cobbler topped with Coconut-Pineapple Ice Cream – this was an absolutely delicious dessert and I Highly recommend it, with my recommendation to enjoy a meal at Riceworks Kuna!

This place was great but I do have to say a huge part of our wonderful experience was due to our amazing waitress Aubrey! I’m Gluten intolerant and asked 100 questions and she was so patient, knowledgeable and friendly!! The food was AMAZING!
Aubrey made my husband’s and I experience so wonderful and we will definitely be back because of her!! I definitely recommend coming here, this place exceeded my expectations!!

We went for my birthday dinner on 8/28 with our 4-year-old son. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door by the host. He even greeted our son and had a little conversation with him, which we appreciated. We had a 6:30 reservation and were sat upon arrival, right on time. Our server gave us such great service and was patient with our son while he practiced ordering his own meal, which he told her three times lol. She was so sweet. We had the key lime pie martini, hot sake, and sake bombs. Crab Rangoon for the appetizer was delicious and came out quickly. Miso soup was perfect. We ordered a sushi roll and the shrimp yakisoba at a level 3 spice. All amazing. I also appreciate that the kids mac n cheese is kraft mac, the kind that the kids like! Not some fancy noodles :). Chef came out to wish me a happy birthday and brought us a slice of cheesecake with caramel, on the house. We will definitely be back! Thinking this will be our new spot.

I’ve been here 3 times now with my family and every time we’ve had a great experience! Personally I love the steak, it’s been cooked perfect everytime and always has amazing flavor. With a family of 5 it is expensive but worth it. The food has always been on point and we’ve never had bad service, multiple check in every time. Two of the times the chef has even come out to check on how our food was and our experience. Highly recommend!

WOW. I’m from California visiting family on vacation, and they brought me to Rice Works and let me tell you, this place was FANTASTIC.
From the moment we walked up, we were greeted by a super friendly employee who made us feel welcome right away. Our host, Maya, was awesome and got us seated quickly, and our server Riley was just as great. The service overall was top-tier multiple staff members checked in on us, cracked jokes, and genuinely made us feel welcomed the entire time. You can tell this team really cares.
Now the food… The miso soup was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The sushi rolls were fresh, high quality, and absolutely delicious. Even the Dino nuggets for the kids were a hit which says a lot.
Honestly, this is one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to, period. I already know exactly where I’ll be eating the next time I’m back in town. Huge thank you to the entire Rice Works team for such an amazing experience.

Riceworks was recommended by a friend as the best steak around. We were skeptical but it was proven. We had the filet mignon and a giant rib steak. Mouth watering amazing steaks. The sides were also very yummy. Hands down great spot for a steak OR Asian cuisine.

The food is phenomenal. Very good quality ingredients and amazing service. Phu took a lot of time to explain all of the differences in the sushi as my husband is not usually a fan. He really enjoyed the rolls I ordered! Which was awesome. We also ordered the potsticker appetizers, a kids meal and Generals chicken.. loved all of it. Great portions and the server was kind. Quick service. All in all was a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back.

While the food is excellent there I do have to recommend calculating your own tip. You can see that my 20% isn’t the same as their 20% even when both calculated after tax. All I can say is that sushi rolls aren’t the only fishy item at rice works.
