This is our first time eating here. It is a charming restaurant. The service was excellent and tentative. There are familiar Thai dishes and some unique dishes. We ordered steamed veggie dumplings based on recommendation, and they were delicious. We had Broccoli combinations and massaman curry. They were very tasty with the right amount of seasoning. The food came out very quickly. We really enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant for Thai food when you are in Worcester area.

I’ve been to Rice Violet twice and was impressed both times. The food is absolutely delicious, clean, and full of flavor — with generous portions for a great price ($13–$21). The Thai lady who helped us was so friendly and gave great recommendations. The service is fast and warm, and the dishes arrive hot and fresh till the last bite.
It’s honestly the best Thai food I’ve had in Worcester. I’m surprised it’s not busier, because this place truly deserves more love. Highly recommend!

This place definitely has some authentic Thai recipes on their menu. I had papaya salad and violet special – effectively chicken krapow. The papaya salad was good spiciness, a bit too many peanuts to my taste and was served with sticky rice while for the price I’d rather see it served with couple shrimp. Chicken krapow was delicious, good spicy level (I asked for spicy), but didn’t have enough basil in it. Good size portions priced accordingly. Next time I’ll try their soups and curry. Definitely will stay on my list of places to visit again and again.

This was our second time eating Rice Violet this week. We did pickup on Monday, and it was soooooo good but I didn’t take any photographs. On Thursday, the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed, so we decided to dine in at Rice Violet. This was our first time going in person and it will not be the last. We have ordered delivery many times, and they have always knocked it out of the park. Our dine in experience did not disappoint. We had great service and great food. Items in the photographs include Thai Iced Tea, Summer Roll, Shrimp Tempura, Crazy Noodles with Shrimp, and the Seafood Curry. Based on this experience and all of our past orders, I highly recommend this restaurant. We loved everything about both Monday’s and Friday’s meals.

Rice Violet is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Worcester. The staff is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I eat here with my family often and we’re never disappointed. The veggie appetizer sampler is yummy especially the mini samosas and the dumplings. You can’t go wrong with any of the soups, curries and other entrees.

I went with a group of friends – we ordered the crab rangoon and veggie dumplings (steamed) as an appetizer. Both were very good, but the crab rangoons were my favorite. For the meal, I ordered beef Pad See-U and the Thai tea lemonade. The lemonade was sweet and tasted a bit like honey. The beef in the pad see ew was tender and had a nice bite, and the noodles were perfect. It came with broccoli, mung bean sprouts, and carrots. The portion size was good and the food (both appetizer and main) came out quickly.

I had a pleasant time dining in at Rice Violet this evening. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and food was good! They are very generous with portions here and offer a wide variety of options on the menu, including many vegetarian appetizers and entrees. Tonight we ordered the Spicy Basil Pad Thai and Three-Flavor Tilapia dish which tasted very flavorful and authentic.

I had the most lovely experience dining at Rice Violet before attending a show at the Palladium. It was right down the street, so I figured it would be perfect, and it was even better than my expectations. I wasn’t sure what to get, so the waitress helped me pick out the Massaman. When it came out, I was pleasantly surprised to see the rice was served in a pyramid shape, with the curry around it. It looked like a mountain with a town below. It was so beautiful, I almost had a hard time digging in because it was so majestic and picturesque. Luckily, I was pretty hungry so I was able to finish the whole dish, and nearly llcked the bowl clean when I got to the bottom. I will most certainly be back to try more of their menu, and i can’t wait to return for more! Highly recommend this fine Thai and vegetarian establishment if you’re hungry and craving a bit of Asian persuasion.
