This was my first experience ordering from this location, even with the recent negative reviews I decided to give them a try. The Chicken wings were cooked perfectly and were fresh, however the pizza we ordered was not fully cooked and was slightly raw in the middle of the pizza. We attempted to get some compensation for the undercooked food however the response from the restaurant was “That’s how we always prepare it” and denied any compensation. There are other Halal pizza locations in town with better customer service and better pizza that’s actually cooked.

I am completely satisfied with everything this store has to offer, it’s a grocery store with a good variety of spices, meat, cookware, you name it they have it ! amazing restaurant , with a big menu that offers delicious authentic food. My favorite is their fried chicken, which is creamy, juicy and full of flavor, and their wings that taste just as good as the chicken but are busting with flavor, not only that but you get to chose from 13 plus flavors for the wings ! Not to mention their pizzas are incredible, not only do they use fresh ingredients that taste amazing, but also have more than 13 specialty pizzas, to chose from and 6 pizza deals that you cannot resist, my personal favorite is the party pack, 2 topping pizza with 10 wings and a free two liter soda. And the best part is, their prices and cheap and reasonable. Also not to forgot their customer service is very good, very nice people. I’ve been shopping with them for a while, and love their food, I’m a satisfied customer and so will you, this store is a 10 / 10 you will not be disappointed

Both pizzas we tried weren’t very good. Definitely tasted and looked more like a frozen pizza. The lamb gyro we got was fantastic, although it was cold. The business itself was absolutely filthy and disgusting.
In response to the owner’s comment, I’d like to edit and say that I will definitely return and have another gyro. In fact, I think you guys should focus on your gyros because they are so good. If you built your restaurant around making the best gyros in the county, I think you could do it. If you had fewer other menu items to focus on making, even more love and care could go into the gyros.

The menu overall is on the cheaper end. Decent size portions overall the best bang for your buck. I drive 30 mins just to go eat here. Food is served in a reasonable amount of time everytime and they are very attentive to their guests. I really like this place.

This place is awful, the tandoori chicken burrito had cheap ingredients nothing special. Lacking flavor and sauces were god awful! The samosas taste like floor cleaner. I dont know about other food, but I don’t recommend this place nor will I go back.

Everytime I get Rice & Spice, I think it’ll be the last time. I open up my food and have some complaint like “feels like their skimping on the meat” or “not sure about how they changed up the vegetables”.
Then I eat it and remember why this is my favorite takeout in Lodi. Amazing every time.
We usually stick to the Middle Eastern menu. All of the plate options are solid, the gyro is great. I just had the naan kabob for the first time and it was amazing. I did have a cheeseburger once, and it was what you’d expect from a grill.
100% recommend. If you want a quick cheap takeout, Rice & Spice can’t be beat.

Customer sevice is terrible i was at the counter for 30 minutes before getting my cold food. Much of their groceries are outdated and I have seen rats in this store many times especially in the mornings running out when they open. I actually watched them unload a dead cow from the trunk of their car one day into their store to sell as fresh meat. On top all that don’t trust them. They charged my ebt card $300 for only $50 of food and acted like the machine was broken and would not print. The last owners were so much better and these guys are just clowns. The place is filthy and stinks like rotten meat.

Not sure whats wrong but this place keep disappointing me with my order literally being messed up! 2x in 2 weeks i order food and when i go to pickup they dont have it ready let alone haven’t even started on it. 1st time i let it slide it was over a week ago on Friday had to wait 1 hour for 8 piece fried chicken. Then just today ordered pizza and chicken i even made them confirm my order so what happened last week doesnt happen again, im told it went through 30 mins later i go in to pickup and I’m told it happened again and its not even started on yet!…. They ask if i want to wait? Its like a joke to them… when i asked “if i wait do i get discount? After all this is the 2nd time they did this im told i can have a can of soda as if i dont already have it at home. One reason American restaurants run well is they compensate the customers better for their mistakes.
If i wasn’t feeling sick i would have cooked myself I put my trust in and got nothing had to go get taco truck food for my family.

Very nice hidden jewel. Ok. It’s not hidden, it’s just not on a high traffic street.
Parking is plenty. Deli counter has good selection. My fav is the lamb w rice. The grocery area offers a couple freezer cases full of goodies from around the world. Dry grocery area is great too- nice selection of spices, rices and mixes.
