Great place for a quick bite to eat in or for take out. Their onigiris are FRESH!

Parking/Environment:
There’s a dedicated parking lot. On a Sunday early afternoon, it didn’t seem too packed but we just parked in the 10 minute spots since we only ordered take out. There were high and low seating indoors and some outdoor patio seats.

Food:
Aside from their onigiris and hand rolls, they also sold Japanese snacks and drinks.
We ordered Spam & Egg Musubi ($4.25), Salmon Yuzu Miso ($4), Spicy Lobster Shrimp ($5.50), and Spicy Tuna Mayo ($4). They were sooo good and hit the spot! Wish I ordered more.

Pretty nice spot here! We enjoyed the salmon handrolls, and salmon nigiri. There is a parking lot, and some street parking. Cool interior with plenty of seating. There is also about 4 outdoor tables. Kid and dog friendly outside. Salmon was tasty, and everything was fresh. We also got the eggplant ohnigiri. That was solid, but mostly rice… staff was nice, and it was a fun spot for a quick bite! The menu was a bit confusing; the combo seemed higher pricing than the items individually.

I want to start by saying I really love their hand rolls. Their service is almost atrocious though. The people working at the cashier who take your order have actually been nice but the ones filling and calling out the order have been so consistently rude.
Aside from being stingy with giving out soy sauce, for the 3rd time I’ve had to ask for utensils on a to go order. When I had to go back into the store after realizing they hadn’t given me utensils even though they asked and I said yes the guy at the station stopped stared at me and said it should be in the bag…guess what it wasn’t – he almost looked at my like I was lying.

Would love to come back because I love the food but too many negative interactions.

I def recommend getting the 3 Handroll set for a filling lunch, very worth it as you get 3 handrolls (1 premium), your choice of sashimi, and edamame.

I got the Spicy Eggplant Onigiri, Negi Toro Handroll, and Blue Crab Handroll. My favorites were the handrolls. I thought there was too much rice for the onigiri and it wasn’t spicy at all. The handrolls were pretty big and enjoyable.

The restaurant is bright and clean.

Amazing Onigiri and handrolls! We had the handroll set of three with bay scallop, Uni cheese (don’t miss this one!) and spicy salmon. All excellent. We also ordered onigiri- bacon and avo, salmon and tuna.. salmon was our least favorite. Also seaweed salad is perfection and please don’t skip the lychee lemonade!

One of the best onigiri restaurants of all time. Highly recommend the yuzu salmon. Tastes incredibly fresh

The onigiri ratio was way off—too much rice and not enough of the filling. The musubi fell apart for everyone that ordered one in my group because they had been made waaaay in advanced—the nori was super greasy and obliterated. The miso soup was meh. The hand rolls were ok at best but again had way too much rice and not enough filling. $90 and we walked away hungry. Definitely not going back.

I like coming here with my friend for a quick bite. The staff is friendly and the food seems fresh. The place is clean, although it can get crowded at times.

I visited Rice & Nori on a Monday around 5 PM, and while it was semi-busy, most people were ordering to-go. I chose to dine in, and for my first visit, I was super impressed! I ordered the 3-hand roll set for $19, and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the salmon, negi toro, and bay scallop rolls, and honestly, I couldn’t pick a favorite they were all that good! The set also included salmon sashimi, and I was thrilled it came with ikura. The vibe here is super chill, not fancy, but perfect for a relaxed meal with amazing food. Boyfriend ordered Shio Salmon onigiri and it was amazing loved that the rice was warm but for the hand roll it wasn’t. Only downside is that the wasabi was not spicy.
