The best onigiri I have had in a while! They’re inexpensive, delicious and yummy! Whatever you order will be fine heck yeah

I am selective with Japanese food, and the onigiri here is incredible. The Beef Sukiyaki in particular perfectly blends salty and savory flavors.
Vibe is more of a chill lunch spot, or quick pit stop while exploring Little Tokyo than a serious sit-down joint, but for me that worked out great.

Being unfamiliar with this food, I asked the cashier what to get and this is what he recommended:
ONG Salmon Yuzu $4.00
ONG Sp. Lobster Shrimp $5.50
ONG Tuna Mayo SPICY $4.00
HR Negi Toro $6.50
The salmon hand roll was my fav but it’s very small for the price compared to the rice balls. Two rice balls and a hand roll would do most folks but I wanted to try what he recommended.
I also had a ONG Spam & Egg $4.25 it was one of the better spam and egg musubi’s I’ve had.
Hope that helps

Delicious food! Im just traveling through and grabbed some takeout and everything was delicious. Straw and utensils were also in my bag, which is a plus. Definitely recommend the tuna mayo spicy and the spam & egg!

I always eat at Rice & Nori when I’m in LA, sometimes twice. The onigiri is my go-to and the meal comes out quick. They have plants on sale too if you are in the market for that. Good spot to take your family and friends while supporting Little Tokyo.

The rice balls were so delicious. I kind of went back to Japan when I took a bite. But, may I dare say that they’re spicy tuna mayo onigiri was better than the one I had at the conbini at Japan?!

The food was GREAT, – the onigiri (rice balls) were delicious and freshly made. The flavor was great too, I liked that they put enough protein in the middle. It’s a super cute establishment – modest in the outside but the interior has a specific plant vibe aesthetic, it’s a casual setting. The rice balls are tasty – I got the chicken teriyaki and enjoyed it. One rice ball is probably 4-6 bites, depending on how hungry or full you are you can get more. I had one and it served as a good sized portion for a snack. Definitely would recommend coming here for a quick meal / catch up / casual hangout!!

Wow!! So lucky to find this place in LA.
It looked like fast food place so we didn’t expect much but got pleasantly surprised by quality of hand roll.
We enjoyed yellowtail sashimi and hand rolls and the onigiri. Set menu was a great value.
Highly recommend this place in LA.

I’m extremely disappointed with this location of Rice and Nori. I’ve always loved the food at the Pasadena branch—it’s my favorite. I was happy to find this spot on my commute home and tried it a few times for takeout, especially since they offer 15 minutes of free parking. But after today, I won’t be coming back.
They no longer answer phone calls, so I had to use Postmates. It took them so long to prepare the order. When I finally got my food, the rice in the rolls was undercooked—hard, raw, and inedible. It was honestly one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve had. This location has gone downhill fast. The quality is nowhere near what it used to be. I’m very disappointed and will only go to the Pasadena location from now on.

Wow this place was just on point ! Great place for a quick bite or snack . Onigiris are freshly made and decently priced . Love that they put enough of the meat inside and it’s not just rice . The flavor is great . First time they make a good eggplant miso and mushroom onigiri . Usually they don’t have enough flavor or enough mushroom but this spot has it down . Must try if you are in little
Tokyo ! They also don’t use any peanuts – good about allergies !
