This hidden gem food was delicious. I’ve lived in Carson all my life & mad that I never ate here. We had the beef fried rice, orange chicken, chicken chop suey, and dumplings. It’s been a long time that I had good food like this. If you are in the area please try it. Best for take out not for dinning in.

The cook is the very best. Their Mandarin selections are the very best. This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Carson, CA! The filet mignon is the most tasty & tender dish and the fish in black bean sauce it so flavorful! Owner’s are the kindest individuals. Never been disappointed with anything ordered. Very large portions served. You will be pleasantly surprised.

This is my first time trying this place. I ordered online for pickup. They are a takeout-only restaurant. No dining in. Everything is made to order, so be prepared to wait. I suggest calling in or online.

I ordered the Combination Chow Fun with Shrimp, Chicken, and Beef and General Tao 3 Meat (Chicken, Pork, and Beef).

Combination Chow Fun: The portion size was very generous. Fresh and still hot when I got home. It was too salty, I couldn’t even tolerate it after a couple of mouthfuls. Tried to add Sriracha, but did not help.

General Tao: Too sweet and too much breading.

What a waste of my hard-earned money. So many other worthy restaurants in the area, Rice Kitchen is definitely off my list.

Great food great service the man who made my food who I assume was the owner was so nice I’ve been looking for my favorite dish which is Singapore Mei Fun and I’ve called every Chinese restaurant in Carson and everyone tells me they don’t make it or they have some fat noodle that they call rice noodles, but this man knew exactly what I wanted and made the best dish that I’ve ever had in my life. This is my new place. I love this place and I love the food and the great service and the great prices. also, it was the first Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to with a Christmas tree, which was cool Thank you and God bless.

Got my usual orders, still all very flavorful! I love that they never forget to give the plain rice that comes with my order, even though I also buy fried rice. A lot of to go places conveniently forgets to include that. I added one more picture to show my order for today.

I bought
1. Combination fried rice
2. Sweet & sour chicken
3. Combination Chow fun
4. Moo goo gai pan
5. 3 flavored Kung Pao
6. Sesame balls
7. 1 wor (wonton) soup amounted to about $83 total with tax.

I now try to minimize buying to go food or dining at a restaurant to curb my family’s expenses, but I like coming back to Rice Kitchen because they have generous servings that I am able to portion out the leftovers & turn it into meals for the following days. We are a family of 2. For this order, I got:

-2 meals for dinner tonight & 10 sesame balls
-8 portioned meals from leftovers
-2 containers of won soup leftover (these + a toast or a cheese quesadilla will make us probably 2-3 meals)
-About 2 more meals of extra rice & Three Flavored Kung Pao.
Total: 14 meals
$83÷13 meals = $5.92

Cooking our own food is the most cost-effective, but buying from Rice Kitchen from time to time is reasonable for me. It’s splurging without breaking the bank.

Aside from the cost, I like the taste of the food here of course that’s why I keep coming back=)

Happy to announce that they still have an A rating. Also, I love that they did not go with the trend of adding suggested tip on To Go orders like other restaurants. Those that do that should be boycotted.

Today I bought combination chow fun, moo go gai pan & mongolian three delight. Everything taste good and fresh!

Being new to the area, my spouse & I tried Rice Kitchen take out yesterday. We got combination fried rice, moo goo gai pan & beef chow fun.
They have a An rating which made me comfortable buying from them. The lady who took our order was very accommodating. The food was tasty and although the food containers were the same size as other restaurants, Rice Kitchen fills them up as much as it would take. I appreciate this because money does not come from a tree and it can get expensive buying restaurant food nowadays. I will definitely be a repear customer and taste all of the food on their menu. To the owner, to cut cost, maybe you can provide plastic food & spoon, fortune cookies and condiments when customers ask for it? Maybe put a sign in your restaurant to let customers know this. The cost you cut on this can used to cover providing bigger portions. Most of the time when it’s to go, these condiments, plastic utensils and fortune cookies only get tossed anyway.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. I ordered takeout online, and was deeply appalled to what I seen when I arrived for pickup. How unorganized and filthy the establishment is. I was asked to wait for my order. There was a old plastic table blocking the entrance, so I waited outside. The view I had was of about 5 workers, two of them eating, one of these was apparently the only person who could put my meal, into a bag and serve me. I waited more than 20mins. For my food!

Hot and sour soup is one of my favorite soups out there. I wanted to try it out from here . Very delicious. I was just not expecting it to be spicy. Soup still spicy but great. And first time my son and I got a meal. He said omg dad it’s so good. Ahaha great size portion and also great price. Leaving a tip every time I go
