The food was pretty good, although I requested it to be extra spicy and to be honest there was no spice in it whatsoever. It’s also a bit on the pricey side considering the quantity and limited amount of meat in the dishes I got.

I like their food but today was a confusing experience. I called to verify they were open around 5:00 p.m. Someone answered, no problem. I call back a few minutes later to place my order. Again no problem. He confirmed my order and gave me my total. It would take between 15 to 20 minutes.
When I showed up, the place is locked up tight and there are no lights on. From out front I call a third time, this time a different person answers. I explain what happened and she puts me on hold for about 5 minutes. When she comes back, she apologizes and said there must have been some confusion because the place is under construction. Huh? I told her I was standing right out front and I don’t understand how someone could answer the phone three different times if the place is closed down for construction. Somebody was not forthcoming, but at that point I didn’t care because I had to figure out other plans for dinner. As I was driving away someone else goes walking up to Rice King to pick up their phone order! The only consolation we both found was that we did not pay in advance for our order. Quite the head scratcher LOL!

This place is takeout only, which is perfectly fine with me. We eat here several times a week – the company I work for. HUGE FANS! The food is always great and has great flavor, there isn’t anything on the menu that we haven’t liked so far. The staff are very nice here as well, very helpful. We also love – and appreciate- the little coupons that they offer. Absolutely will continue coming here, it is the only Chinese restaurant I will eat from in the area.

They raised their rates last year (late 2023) due to inflation, which was understandable. However, I was shocked to find that today all the dishes have increased by another dollar. While I accepted the initial increase, raising the prices again feels excessive and not justified by the amount and quality. I’m disappointed.

Definitely a tourist trap that could use a renovation/ update of the decor… you can tell the restaurant is older. Staff was great. Food was good. Nothing special but not bad. The hotdog was a good size for the price. It was a fun experience, that will make for good stories/we’ll enjoy the videos of our spankings for not finishing our food. Happy we came but it’s a one and done type of place

Great food! Love getting takeout from this place on holidays special occasions and when I plain just don’t feel like cooking. Very quick accurate with the orders. Haven’t tried the delivery from this location in quite a while but I know they offer it. I love the option being able to customize certain menu items when you order them. Every now and then they’ll send out mailers with coupons on them which is great.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant was closed and Rice King was recommended as an alternative. I tried them and was thoroughly satisfied with my choice.
I ordered online and paid at the restaurant. They do not allow people inside the restaurant at this time and have a makeshift wooden box that is very safe and efficient for paying and serving through. It did take a while to get my food but I am used to that. When I want my food hot and fresh I am willing to wait.
When tou spend over a certain amount on Chinese take out, in my case $55, you are supposed to get a free 2 liter. You do have to ask because they usually will not offer it ..
BUT, all in all I am happy with Rice King and will go back soon.
It is worth a shot if you are in the area.
