First and foremost, I was hungry and staying at a hotel across the street. I was also not opposed to something with rice and/or entertainment value, or perhaps even fun. Enter: Rice Fun.
I went online and placed my order. General Tso’s chicken. For $10 i got a whole tray of food, including a delicious egg roll. Anxiously, I walked from my hotel to the restaurant, not knowing the good things in store for me. As I walked in, they were already plating up my order. I was greeted by the friendly staff and given my food. It was also, somehow fun too, just like the name says. Let’s be clear, there was rice and there was fun. Together, they merged to form the Mighty Rice Fun, defender of hunger and boredom.
I tried to play it cool on the way back to my room. I was excited for all the rice and fun, but wanted to act like I had been there before. When I opened the container in my hotel room, the food was hot and smelled fantastic. Little did I know, the fun was just beginning. The food was delicious and I made up a song about Rice Fun that my wife and kid are tired of me singing.
Long story short, if you are hungry for food with rice, and a side of good old fasioned fun, try Rice Fun, and then make up your own song to sing to your friends and family.

I recently ordered chicken wings, egg drop soup, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, egg rolls, crab rangoons, and Chinese donuts. The Chinese donuts were the only redeeming part of this meal—they were fresh and tasted as they should.
Everything else was absolutely subpar and frankly fit for the trash. The dishes were bland, stale, and carelessly prepared, showing a complete lack of respect for customers and basic culinary standards.
I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but this was one of the worst takeout experiences I’ve ever had. If this restaurant wants to stay in business, I strongly recommend that they reevaluate the quality and preparation of its food. Never again and I will make it my business to steer anyone away from this location. I can’t speak for any of the other establishments, however, I don’t believe they would be any better.
Today is my sister’s birthday and my mother is sick and unfortunately can’t travel otherwise we would have eaten out. So now I instead of having a happy family meal in, we are all sad and hungry.

Always fantastic and tasty! I don’t like the shrimp sauce here, not sure why. The ratio feels off and tastes mostly like mayo. But everything else I’ve had here is just great.

Staff are a 10 out of 10 .The Food is catered to people who don’t season chicken . Food ain’t bad at All but it not The kind of food your used to if your watch your Grandma run up and down the aisle at church filled with the Holy Ghost on Sunday.. There should be an option to Afro America my food I’m sure they will do a good job adding a lil bit more of everything.. Food ain’t bad , staff are awesome just never ate such light and careful lightly seasoned food , but considering the health problems that North Carolinas face and everyone else its refreshing to have a healthy light choice for people who want that. Not me Im going to the buffet later lol ..

Omg this goes to show why I havent been to this place even living here forever. How can anyone messed up sesame chicken. Peking downtown is my usual go to place but because I was close to rice fun, I decided to give them a try. A big disappointment. Even the fried rice is nasty… I got chicken and rice soup also and half the container was broth

Food is aight, there is ynot many choices in town so people overrated this place. Portion size and quality is a notch below Panda Express. Why? The breading of the chicken separated and chicken itself is bland so taste like boiled chicken with sweet and sour sauce.
Egg rolls are just pink lettuces. Almost everything on the menu is under $10 so I guess I can’t complain too much.

I gave Rice Fun a try for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef and veggies with the brown pepper sauce and 6 regular wings. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Happy I tried them.
