I love dumplings. This was my first time ordering from here and I’m blown away. My dumplings came with soy sauce and chili crisp (a 10 out of 10 pairing with dumplings). The skin wasn’t too thick or too thin, the flavor was PHENOMENAL!!

This place is amazing Springfield!!! Dumplings come in 1/2 and 3/4 pound options and they have a variety of flavors to choose from. Pork belly and cabbage, chicken pineapple fried rice and sooooo many other options that are just a flavor bomb for your taste buds.

I am sorry to write a bad review on a locally owned restaurant like this, but I have to. I don’t know if it’s because I am not used to the flavors of this cuisine as someone who’s never had Sichuan style Chinese food, or if there is actually something wrong with the preparation, but the food was not good at all. Dumplings were very doughy, dry on the inside, and tasted like nutmeg with no other flavor. I understand that the red oil is a part of the food culture now, but I think there should be some sort of warning that the food comes absolutely swimming in red chili oil. On the menu photos there’s no sign of red oil so it was quite the shock. The oil was very spicy, and smelled and tasted foul. I don’t like any kind of chili oil and if I knew all three of the dishes we ordered were going to come with two or three ladles of it I would have gotten something else. The sweet and sour spare ribs were very tasty but I had to wipe off the foul oil before eating them… Cabbage and pork belly was inedible because of the oil… Black pepper beef had great flavor but I could only eat the pieces that weren’t covered in oil. I could’ve not liked this meal because I’m not used to the cuisine, but regardless, I would not go here unless you are sure you like this style of cuisine or are ready to take an expensive gamble. And I hope you like chili oil.

I love Chinese and Asian food so much- we were excited to try this place. First off the service was not starting off good. The server did not know English very well and she was not able to explain to me anything about any of the dishes and she had tried nothing so had no idea what was good. we ordered chicken fried rice twice fried pork and Szechuan beef. For $14 the chicken fried chicken had a very small portion and had the tiniest pieces of chicken I’ve ever seen and hardly any at that. the Szechuan beef had the oiliest sauce I’ve ever seen. Pure oil. Onion and beef with bones in it. I tried it and it had hardly any flavor and what spice they did use, tasted more Indian than Chinese. Gross. Then the twice fried pork looked more like pieces of pork belly, and it was completely doused in oil again. Like a half inch of oil on my plate. Not that flavorful either- Never seen anything like it. I asked my server if the dishes were always so oily since me and my husband were extremely disappointed and she said yes and just walked away. We had to ask the server to get drinks twice because we couldn’t find her so my husband had to go out physically ask her both times we needed a drink. Then, after we asked about how oily the dish was, the Asian chef comes out and starts mugging on me. I could not believe it. He was seriously sitting there staring at me, like he as so offended I said his food was oily. We paid and vowed to never return- don’t waste your time- I’ve Worked at Asian restaurants and I Grew up next to Asian people who I got very close to and would cook for us all the time, and I have never seen that much oil in a dish in my life. Don’t waste your hard earned money here. also a note to the chef or the owner of this place, you should Probably act a little bit more grateful when you have people coming into your completely empty restaurant because people that have children don’t go Out very much and you kind of ruined our one night out. At least we know where to avoid.

This place is legit! I’m traveling in for work, and it hit the spot. Dumplings are out of this world, the Szechuan beef is spicy, delicious, and fresh, and the beef fried rice is on point as well. This place is a must-try.

Our first time there tonight. Food was excellent! Really enjoyed the pineapple chicken fried rice. We had a large party and service was great. Dining room was clean. All the food was hot and fresh and we were impressed with portion sizes and presentation. Price point was good for the portion sizes. Enjoyed the atmosphere and this was the prettiest sangria I’ve ever seen. We will be back in the future!

Don’t listen to all the other stupid reviews from people who don’t know that twice fried pork IS PORK, or someone who doesn’t like CHILI OIL going to a Chinese place giving 1 star reviews. This place is great. Very delicious food, I had the clay pot rice, their Chinese pork and chive dumplings and their mapo tofu (and yes KAREN it does have chili oil, dont go to a Chinese place expecting to not get chili oil) and its delicious.

We ordered to go. When we went to pick it up the place was empty, not uncommon for Mondays. The food was good, my husband got the clay pot spare ribs and rice, and it was very flavorful. The ribs were impossibly tender. The rice had a nice toasty bit on the bottom from the clay pot. They included a nice chili flakes in oil to add to it. We got two kinds of dumplings, pan fried and steamed. They give you a lot of dumplings in the 1/2 lb option so the price was a great deal. The cabbage and pork dumplings are bland, but the kids enjoyed them so much, they ate them all up. This is a great spot to get some dumplings and rice!

Was very excited to finally come here since they opened. Saw that some rated 5 and some rated 1, what a strange difference. I can now put in my own opinion and I will give it 4 stars!
We went around 1pm and were the only ones there for awhile. Our server took care of us and made sure our water wasn’t empty. We ordered the pork and cabbage dumplings, the rice with Cantonese sausage, and velvet chicken claypot. Both meats were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! The dumplings were 1/2lb which meant we got 12, they tasted good along with the sauce. (Only “bad” thing was that they weren’t served hot, but honestly that didn’t make me enjoy them any less). The restaurant itself was enjoyable to be in, it’s clean and well maintained.
I’m glad I was able to prove the low reviews wrong in my head. I will be returning in the future!
