Wow!!!!! I had the spicy ramen, we tried the chicken fried rice and my boyfriend got spicy bulgogi.

The ramen has such an incredible broth. Very complex and well developed.

Delicious food!! Also good bubble tea!!

We LOVE Rice bowl! They have delicious food with fresh ingredients! And lots of choices for everyone! Our favorites are the hot stone bibimbap, the spicy beef ramen and chicken pad Thai! You really can’t go wrong with great food and amazing service!!

I was surprised to find that this restaurant is labeled as Korean, but the food did not taste Korean at all. The flavors and preparation were quite different from authentic Korean cuisine. Even the interior decoration feels much more Chinese than Korean.

I don’t understand why this place is called a Korean restaurant, as both the food and the atmosphere do not reflect Korean culture. I just hope people don’t misunderstand what authentic Korean food is like based on this experience.

She said the spicy was a 2 out of 10 but it lit me up. Sunday lunch for 2 with an appetizer cost $42 plus tip. There needs to be a lunch special on Sunday. Update on 2nd visit: Tried the terriaki chicken and it was excellent! Comes with a side of rice. Although I thought the meal was slightly expensive, it was a big portion and I could have probably should have taken a part of it home. The building, the parking lot and especially the entrance are nothing to brag about, and the inside of the building is not that great either. But the food is excellent.

Menu has japanese and Korean food and the decorations from the places are Chinese. Bobba tea strawberries I order is just JUMEX strawberries or some other cheap lemonade with balls and ice . Thats not bobba tea at all. I hate this place. Also I saw people in the kitchen going to the bathroom in gloves and coming out same gloves I doubt about the kitchen been a clean area.

When my husband and I lived in New Albany, we’d frequent Rice Bowl Korean Restaurant any time we could, and I’d order the bibimbap (hot stone). I absolutely loved it the first time I tried the dish. I wish we still lived close to Rice Bowl in New Albany, IN.

Rice Bowl’s dishes are very tasteful. The service is nice; the wait staff are very kind and courteous.

The restaurant is very well-kept.

We liked it when we first came here maybe two to three years ago. But then something happened and it started going downhill. At first we thought it was a one time blip. This time we thought about giving it another try. It was so bad I did not finish my food and I am that kind of person who hates to waste food and almost never leaves food in the plate. It was that bad. Not going back there ever.

First time coming here. I have passed this restaurant multiple times and decided to stop by for lunch with the hubby. This place did not disappoint. Our meal was delicious and so flavorful. It was so much, I had leftovers. Our waitress was extremely friendly. Everything on the menu sounded good except for tofu, I am not a fan. I will definitely return.

Environment: 0/10. Sticky, dingy. Bathroom dirty (I mean DIRTY)

Service: very slow. It was 98% empty.

Tea: $5 for an oolong tea pot that was not loose leaf, just crushed/bagged tea.

Food: it truly looks authentic- it looks delicious. Sadly, the required effort and care just isn’t there. Tea eggs? Hardly browned, and waayyy way dry & overcooked. The pork in my pork ramen, dry & overcooked.

I also got the tofu and vegetables house special ($15) – it was some tofu and broccoli and carrots. Not tasty- and broccoli and carrots? not what I was expecting as vegetables at a Korean/japanese establishment

If you have no access to anywhere else, and you are simply dying with homesickness- you can find a veneer of Japanese/Korean food here, but sadly, I can’t recommend coming here for any other reason.
