I drove here after seeing a Facebook post about the place. I live fifty miles away. The fried combination rice was absolutely delicious and the best that I’ve had in over twenty years. I’m going back soon to try the pepper steak and rice.

I had a taste for some takeaway. Passed by and decided to check it out despite appearances. We walked in, and the lady at the counter looked us dead in our face and looked back down without saying a single word. We left out without ordering due to the lack of acknowledgment. As we were about to leave, a white lady from Pafford medical services pulled up. We followed her in, and sure enough, she received a greeting! I don’t care how good someone’s food is said to be. No one will be getting my business/money without the proper respect. It is a reflection of how they view you and, in this case, those like me. No food is worth my own self-respect.

Sadly disappointed with my experience from this weekend. I love this place, anytime I come home Rice Bowl is a must. I consistently brag and recommend this place to anyone who is coming through Clarksdale. Sadly, I will have to warn anyone if the young lady with glasses is up front to turn around expeditiously. She was horrible, condescending, unfriendly, and clearly didn’t want any business at all. It’s very sad because the food is great. I would rather patronize a place where people like myself and who look like me are respected and treated kindly. A simple hello and thank you for your business actually would have sufficed. Highly disappointed.

Not ever a disappointment, love the shrimp egg foo young. Cooked on point every time I order it when I’m in the area… they’ve not let me down yet. Hopefully they continue to maintain, so far so good for years thus far!

I ordered a large vegetable fried rice and had it with a sampler plate smoked barbq which we bought in Holly Springs.We ate it for dinner, reheated it the next day for lunch.Best tasting fried rice i’ve had.
