Hidden gem! We were craving Latin food and this spot hit the mark. The Canoa was flavorful and satisfying, the Caribbean sliders were fun and tasty, and the pastelitos were flaky, crispy, and packed with filling. Everything was fresh and made to order. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

I finally got to check out rice and beans 603 with my son today, and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while now after reading tons of great reviews. As a Puerto Rican woman, I’m always on the lookout for authentic Rican food, and this place definitely delivered. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, a super friendly guy who actually recognized me from school! That made the experience even better. It felt so good to see a fellow Puerto Rican, and a Nashua native at that, owning and running a business right here in our community. I felt proud and genuinely happy for him. The menu was simple, clear, and filled with all the classics. If you’re Puerto Rican, you’ll instantly recognize everything on it. I was torn between getting a plate of arroz con gandules with meat or a jibarito. The owner recommended the jibarito, so I went with that. My son got the arroz con gandules with bistec encebollado (steak and onions), and we both started with beef and cheese pastelillos (aka empanadas to most). The moment we took our first bites, our faces lit up. Hands down, this was the most delicious Puerto Rican food I’ve had in a long time besides my own, of course . The rice was fluffy, the meat flavorful, and every bite took me straight back to Puerto Rico. And then came the jibarito… oh my God. Heaven. The tostones were crispy and perfectly cooked, not greasy or soggy at all. The pernil inside was tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. If I had one tiny complaint, it’s that I wish there had been just a bit more meat with the rice, but only because it was that good. We left completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit.
If you haven’t been to Rice & Beans603 yet, please do yourself a favor and check it out. The service was amazing. The owner was the only one working, and even though he let us know there would be a 25-minute wait due to other orders, I didn’t mind at all. My only regret? Not tipping him more, it was absolutely worth every dollar spent.

This past weekend, family and friends gathered to honor my father, who passed away on November 7 at the age of 93. Since my father was born in Puerto Rico, we chose “Rice and Beans 603” to cater the family luncheon. Owner and chef, Tony, did not disappoint! From pernil (roast pork) and arroz con gandules, to canoas (plantains stuffed with ground beef), the food was excellent. Tony even made a batch of canoas using plant based beef, to satisfy our vegetarian guests. Strawberry 3 leches cake and coconut flan finished the meal. My father would have loved this restaurant, thank you Tony.

Look past their venue and location – you will miss out, otherwise. This is a TAKE-OUT ONLY joint. Order ahead for pickup (otherwise you may wait 1/2 hour). Park across the street behind CVS
The food is ridiculously amazing, like nothing I’ve had before. Fried Plantains (Mofong) with fried pork was recommended by another customer – I recommend it for you too!
Go! Now!

After saying I had a gluten allergy I was asked what I felt like, they would create something for me. I just asked that it was spicy. I was asked questions and given a sample prior to it being completed. I was presented with a spicy corn dish that mixed with rice was a flavor explosion in my mouth. The spice level was perfection. They truly care about creating food you will love. My husband ordered tacos. He said they maybe the best tacos he has ever had. (The man loves tacos and we go all over to eat them) He kept commenting on the flavor, that these tacos are not the typically ones you find in most local NH restaurants. We are very happy we noticed the restaurant driving by. Next time it will be a planned trip. I highly recommend trying their delicious food. Definitely take the time to ask if you don’t see exactly what you are wanting. This place truly caters to you and they do it with a smile.
My only want is that it had more than one table to eat at. It is more of a take out place due to the size. I would love to see them expand.

Finally got the chance to visit Rice & Beans 603 on Main Street in Nashua, and let me tell you—this place is AMAZING!
The food was so incredible it sent me into a full-blown food coma. Someone call 911—I need a food c-section because I just couldn’t stop eating! You can taste the love and passion they put into every bite.
We had one mission: try as much of the menu as possible. Here’s what we ordered:
Three Tacos(beef and chicken) with cilantro and garlic aioli, served with perfectly seasoned yellow rice.
Canoa—a sweet plantain stuffed with beef and cheese, topped with their signature cilantro and garlic aioli.
Roast Pork Sandwich—juicy roast pork with lettuce, tomato, and slaw, tucked between fried plantains and green plantains.
Alcapurrias—no pictures because I was too busy eating!
Let me tell you, that fried plantain sandwich? Absolutely out of this world!
Every bite was seasoned to perfection—it’s like they put their heart, soul, and a good bit of elbow grease into every dish.
And the strawberry Tres Leches cake? HOW is it possible for a cake to be that moist and delicious? We could’ve easily devoured half a sheet of it in one sitting.
Beyond the food, the owners were so friendly and welcoming. They took the time to answer all our questions and make us feel at home.
Now I understand why everyone is raving about this spot. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.
I already regret not ordering more chicken empanadas to go—they’re THAT good.
Rice & Beans 603 is the real deal. Don’t walk—RUN there now! ♀️

Food was yummy! a little constructive comment is going easy on salt. Some people have health issues and it could be an issue for them. Food was delicious but a little bit salty. I ate it all. Overall everything was good!
