The food is delicious! Had the breakfast buffet, and the choices were really good and fresh tasting. They will make you eggs, your style, waffles, and omelet for buffet. Wait, the staff is very attentive, and the service is great! Prices are very reasonable.

Well first of all.. you can’t even walk through there. The place is so crowded, the chairs are literally touching each other. My coffee was weak, you can see how clear it was when they were pouring it. I ordered papas a La Mexicana and I can tell the papas came from a frozen bag. The jalapeño and onion were still raw. My bean were watery and no flavor. I feel like the quality of these restaurants went down since they started opening up on opening up everywhere in Brownsville. nothing like back in the day. I’ll stick to Fina’s cafe.

I can honestly say I’m pretty shocked, usually Ricardo’s is great food, great service, great everything but the reason I’m writing a review and I know we all have our good and bad days, but the service stunk today for lunch. We usually can oversee somethings but when you want a napkin or something to drink and it takes around 15 minuets to acknowledge you because they are too busy chit chatting with other co-workers, that’s what did it today. Food is always great but at least this Ricardo’s, it’ll probably be our last time going. I hope they fix their customer service.

Great service and descent prices! I ordered a giant taco pirata and it did not disappoint. Great texture (slight crisp on the tortilla) and flavor from the fajita. Definitely will be returning.

90% Spanish speaking. Worked our way through it. Very clean establishment and very polite staff. Fruit bar and breakfast was amazing. Will go back if in the area again. Great job guy’s. Thank you.

First time visiting. The pictures looked promising but when we arrived, we were met with dry, old food on the buffet. The beans were literally boiling. Everything was old and overheated. As well as ridiculously salty, and im a person who LOVES salt. They made us fresh Chile rellenos and it was so overwhelmingly greasy. It was the greasiest Chile relleno I’ve ever had. It also smelled like burnt egg. I had to pull the breading off and the Chile was partially raw, and filled with grease, and no seasoning at all. The salad bar was dirty. The lettuce was wilted and old. Overall it was a terrible experience.
