This is my spot for Caldo Tlalpeno, it’s super good. It’s like a chicken soup kicked up 5 notches. It’s chicken with rice, garbanzos, cheese, avocado and chipotle. Definitely recommend this soup!

If you’re looking for amazing Mexican food in Playas de Tijuana, Ricardo’s is the place to be! I tried their “Grand Slam Ricardo’s” – eggs, hash browns, Italian sausage, chilaquiles (I went with green), beans, mini hotcakes, and fruit. It was SO good! The flavors were incredible, the presentation was beautiful, and everything was cooked perfectly.
Our server was super friendly and attentive, making the whole meal feel even more special. I’d definitely recommend Ricardo’s and can’t wait to come back!

Just good food. It’s not fancy or anything but consistently good tasting food. Been coming here now of and on since we get our dental work done in the same plaza. Highly recommend this place.

Great food and drinks, excelent prices, just be aware that you may have to be in line for 15 to 30 minutes due to COVID-19 measures. Worth the wait.
