Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The salsa tasted like raw tomato juice, and the chips had no seasoning at all. My chimichanga was decent, but the queso was comparable to something from Taco Bueno. The rice was dry and lacked flavor.
Overall, I paid $17 for a meal that simply didn’t match the price in quality. Despite the great service, I won’t be returning.
I had a wonderful experience at Ricardo’s, which is about to celebrate an amazing 50 years in business next week—a true testament to their quality and consistency! The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the service was just as memorable as the food.
Our waiter, Will, was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. It’s rare to find service that feels both efficient and personal, and he absolutely delivered.

As we were paying, I overheard two managers speaking negatively about an employee in a way that seemed unrelated to their work, which was disappointing and unprofessional. We visited on a busy night, and it was noticeable that staff lacked support from management, who spent much of the time seated and chatting rather than assisting on the floor.
I hope management can address these concerns, as the staff deserves the same respect and support they consistently show customers.
