From the first bite to the last sip, this place delivers. The steak was cooked perfectly and clearly made with top-tier ingredients, the service went above and beyond without ever feeling forced, and the wine list was genuinely impressive. Yes, it’s on the expensive side—but the quality, attention to detail, and overall experience make it worth every penny. This is the kind of place you go when you want a meal to feel like an occasion.

I used to LOVE Ricardo’s. It was a nice place to celebrate and was upscale… but in the last 2 years I’ve really struggled with enjoying it as much.

The food presentation has gone down hill and sometimes strange. Their interpretation for French onion soup ruined my dinner on my second to last visit. Last night we went to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday and his steak was smothered in so much sauce he didn’t want to eat it.

I think the food is still flavorful, the steaks are delicious, but the presentation and balance has been lost.

I remember getting the filet and it used to be a nice design is sauce around the potatoes with the steak laid nicely on top. It didn’t completely FILL the plate.

When my plate was “plated” this was my vision of how it looked in the back: here’s a spoon full of potatoes (splat) here’s the steak (smack) here’s some Gorgonzola (heavy pour). Like serving in a cafeteria.

We’ve been slowly transitioning to the other steak house in town and unless I notice a quick increase in quality presentation… I can’t say I’ll keep trying. At this point the last chance will be when we host our Christmas party here (only because the other steak house was already booked)

The server was amazing and attentive. It was a little upsetting that he wasn’t notified when the sushi chef left. when we’d placed an order, he had to come back to tell us that there was no sushi available.

What a perfect start to the holiday season. We are three ladies with Celiac, so dining out can be tricky. Peggy, our server, was welcoming & kind, being extra careful to accommodate our gluten free needs. The food was divine. Truly!

If you’re looking for a place with great service, ambience, quality food, this is the place to go! The location at first, had us confused, but this truly has been the best restaurant we’ve been to in Washington. Thoughtfully composed menu and curated dishes, and specials. Highly recommend the wagyu sampler! After especially having had a not so successful day in planning a day birthday trip for my partner, we stumbled upon this place not knowing where else to go and am so thankful we did. Our server, based off the receipt, was Ben. Thank you, Ben for giving us a great experience!

New York Aged Steak it was my first time trying and well it tasted good it wasn’t my favorite. For 100$ I wish it had been the best steak ever. But it was a nice dinner the waitress was excellent. I liked the appetizer. We sat in the bar/patio area and it was really hot for an evening dinner. Decorated really cute by the bar.

Wonderful time with your family and friends! Happy hour is good time to go.
Bartenders make great drinks, MockCocktails. Fun place close great parking with heated fireplaces outside. Just need to remember or find my last Ricardos Card havent used since got 2,1 to go. And would try all.
Pork chops, RibEye and Filet, Sushi nights and deserts. Theyve really exceeded these years. Love the mash and gravy on everything. Be fun to change up Happy hour food. But I know working rest. Tough to do.

Maybe we will get a new menu or some changes soon.

The atmosphere and service were nice, but the food was not high quality.

We are not the ones to complain about our dinner, we just won’t visit again if it’s not up to the standards.

1.) the filet steak was good, but the sauce used did not add to the flavor of the meat. Decent cut and preparation.

2.) we ordered 3 appetizers, they were all mediocre.

3.) I ordered the 14 day aged tomahawk pork, this pork was completely dried out. It was like chewing dry beef jerky. It was a struggle cutting it. Overall, I’d recommend not keeping it on the menu if you don’t want to offer anything but steaks.

Bone marrow – don’t order. waste of money, said dry aged but smelled rotten
French onion soup – bitter. Go with the bisque
Lobster bisque – good but salty
Steaks – are awesome. Comes with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes
Dessert sampler is the best!!!

Just wished they didn’t sell the bad stuff stick with what they are good at.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. The food is always outstanding! And the service is wonderful. The owner even popped by our table to say hello and thank us for coming. Whether you go for their amazing happy hour menu, sushi or a good old steak you will enjoy your time there and leave with a happy belly.
