Dark One
I recently grabbed a bite at a pizza place in the mall, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. When I walked up, all the pizzas were sitting in a warming window, and they looked like they had been there for a while. Despite the less-than-fresh appearance, the pizza actually tasted pretty good. I can only imagine how much better it would be if it was fresh out of the oven.
The first time I ordered, the worker didn’t bother to warm up my slice, which is usually standard for this type of place. It seemed like he just didn’t care. However, I was still hungry, so I went back for another slice. This time, a different worker—a woman—helped me, and she took the time to warm it up. It made a big difference, and the slice was much better.
Overall, this pizza place could be hit or miss, depending on how much effort the staff puts in. When they take the time, the pizza can be pretty good, but if they don’t, you might be left disappointed.

Excellent pizza pockets and panzerotti! The sauce is so flavourful. Kiddos to making such a delicious product!

Not what it used to be. Loved having a slice or panzo with my parents when I was a kid. Over the years portions got smaller while prices went up like crazy. Took my kid today, she enjoyed her pizza, but my panzo was raw and doughy inside.

Staff were sooo lovely and sweet but my panzerotti was completely empty, like just entirely dough, there was a small spot with a couple slices of pepperoni off to the side

Great if u like RAW dough inside ur panzerotti.
This place is sadly not what it used to be.
Prices are up and the quality is very very poor. I called and he didn’t even care that this is what he was serving out to people.

One of the few remaining places we are able to enjoy when we visit the Soo. The panzerottis are still the best to be had. We always order several to go so we can take back to S. Ontario. Spend $10 and get a great treat.

I must have qualified for the free giveaway at Ricardo’s today, without knowing; free hair in my pizza.
And it wasn’t my hair,
Tried calling and gave up after about 30 rings on the phone.
Quality of the food has gone down significantly since it was sold. $10 for a slice of flat as pancake pizza and can of pop? No thanks.

Great pizza, panzerotti and gelato. This place is a Sault Ste. Marie staple. I was somewhat concerned when the founder sold the business as he put his sweat and blood into the quality of the product… which showed with its amazing taste! It tastes like the new owner may have fiddled with the pepperoni and cheese… Not as good but still very tasty.

The customer service seems to be there, but the food is not that great for the extremely high price point, the pizza isn’t that fresh, I have received cold slices before, the panzos seem to be overly greasy, and the deep fried raviolios seem like they have less fillings. I remember Ricardo’s used to be really good and I feel like they lost quality and raised the prices too high. Almost $8 for a slice of pizza is crazy. Move over and let another restaurant take over, the Sault needs better restaurants in the food court and Ricardo’s has past their prime.
