Reviews
Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some Good Pho
If you’re hard to please, picky, and very rude please stop dining out as you ruin the experience and the meal for the rest of us!
The banh mi was fresh and tasty, perfectly balanced, and the spring rolls and calamari were crispy, hot, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Korean-style kalbi ribs, which my father-in-law devoured without a single complaint — and if you know anything about picky eaters, that’s the highest compliment possible.
Even better, my kids and wife loved everything, which almost never happens when dining out. The decor is cute, cozy, and inviting, and as you walk by the neighboring Japanese restaurants, it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into a nice restaurant somewhere in Southeast Asia. Bonus points for the bathroom being clean and new — always appreciated.
The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. I’ll admit, part of me didn’t want to post this review because I selfishly don’t want this place to get too crowded — but Ribs and Broth is truly one of a kind and far too good not to share. An absolute must-try.
Super modern decor and most importantly, table condiments were clean! (No months-old crust like other pho restaurants)
Free parking in the lot adjoining- hard to beat the convenience.
Will definitely be back to try their other plates.
I first went there to eat at Bangkok Chef, but found they closed the previous week. In that week, the restaurant was renovated from a family diner style with large tables to more intimate dining with tables for 2-4 people. The interior decor is upscale and contemporary with slatted walls and impressionist artwork on display.
This is a small restaurant, so staffing levels are on the minimal side, Service was very attentive, but could be a little slow if the restaurant is very busy.
The first time, we had the oxtail pho which was fall apart tender. The broth was typical light pho broth. We also had the teriyaki pork chops which were succulent, tender and delicious.
With our chilly weather, we were in the mood for some soup style dishes. This time we had the beef stew pho and pork bell ramen. The beef stew was definitely different and had a pho taste to it, unlike Americn beef stew. The morsels of beef were fall apart tender. The ramen had a decent broth which was different from the usual tonkotsu broth I tend to order. The pork belly was cooked on a grill or griddle before being placed in the broth. There was a light maillard reaction from the grilling that enhanced the flavor. On the other hand, the pork belly was a little tough and had a taste to it I could not place. I think it was cooked or brined with some Asian spices, sort of like char siu, but not quite like it.
Overall the food was good and is still a go to place for a quick meal.
