Love it! Has a small bar if you are solo, decent wines and buttery mouthwatering steaks. And they have my favorite quest around the world “white pizza”! Owner coming from Jersey/Philly area has authentic Philly cheesesteak and a hint of Italiano to the menu. Beautiful quiet cozy interior, classy ambience. Excellent salad bar included in your entree price. Steaks have 2 sides as well. And you get complimentary delicious beignets.
Bonnie our server was great, giving exceptional personalized service.
Full bar and wine menu.
Book a rehearsal dinner, birthday party, reception, business meeting, any kind of private event. The food is fabulous , beautiful relaxing patio.

We ate here recently and unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The spaghetti and meatballs were bland with little to no seasoning, and the meatballs tasted like they came straight out of a frozen bag from Sam’s. The steak bites were tough, overcooked, and lacked any flavor. I also tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, but the steak was dry, tough, and completely bland — not enjoyable at all.

On the positive side, the service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Sadly, the food itself was a big letdown and did not match the quality of the service.

After saying we were going to try this place, we finally did and are glad we did! Very relaxing and peaceful ambiance. All of the staff were very friendly. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure drinks were full and everything was correct. The salad bar had a very nice selection and was clean. Our food was very tasty. The steaks are some of the best that we have had in Alexandria. The sides, especially the mac n cheese, were also great. And the beignets were a hit with my family. They were very accommodating to my child with special needs when it came to their pickiness in food. The prices are absolutely amazing for the quality and amount of food that you receive! Can’t wait to try more of the menu!

Disappointed by the Hype: A Rocky Start for This New Steakhouse

I really wanted to root for this place—it’s always exciting when a new restaurant opens in town. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by inconsistent service and underwhelming execution across the board.

Despite being newly opened, the staff seemed unprepared for the evening rush. The table behind us was offered complimentary wine due to the restaurant’s pending liquor license, yet our server barely managed the basics—drink refills were rare, and timing felt completely off. It was hard not to notice the uneven treatment.

The salad bar was minimal at best, with limited options and a messy presentation that didn’t hold up under the dinner crowd. As for the food, the steak was fine, but nothing that stood out—comparable to what you’d get at Roadhouse or Outback, without any unique flair or flavor to justify the price point.

The space was clean, which is expected for a new establishment, but the decor lacked personality and didn’t evoke the warm, rustic steakhouse vibe you’d hope for. It felt generic and mismatched.

Sadly, after checking other reviews, it seems our experience wasn’t an isolated one. I won’t be returning, and it’s disappointing to see a new business struggle to find its footing in such a competitive market. I hope they take the feedback seriously and make the necessary changes—there’s potential here.

I had the NY Strip. It was delicious and cooked just like I wanted it, and reasonably priced. The service was not rushed and very friendly. The place is very cute and cozy so that we could talk to each other without yelling. It is also open Sunday for lunch which was nice. Previous places we tried were an hour wait or closed. The only thing we missed was a condiment boat for the baked potato

My husband and I wanted to try this place out for dinner, so we came here around 5:30pm. The ambiance was chill. Our server was really nice and attentive. Salad bar was good and the bread they served was tasty. The entrees were ok. We both got a steak- and while they were big and juicy, they lacked flavor. The mac and cheese also lacked flavor. I also asked for my steak to be medium well and it was in fact medium rare. I’m not sure if they got confused, but they did fix it for me. One of reasons that made me give this restaurant 3 stars.. I had to pay $2 for a water. They brought me a bottled water from Sam’s club. I’m not sure if they can only serve bottled but that’s what I got. I also did not get a refill on the water. The 1 bottle was it. I know with inflation things get expensive. But, I do not think it’s worth it, unless they have a special going on. If they add more seasoning to their meals, and focus on the food a lot more, I would give this place a 4 star.

I really hate this was just so bad. I really hoped that this new little restaurant would be good for our area but it’s just not. No season on steaks and they had to cut into the steak to see what it was cooked a. Had large slash mark down the middle of ribeye. Mac and cheese was over done and mushy. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive I believe she could tell the food was just not it. Salad bar was okay but just basic. Bread and the congealed half melted fake butter is unnecessary. Please get someone that can season and cook a steak if you are going to charge these prices at a steak restaurant. $100 for this meal for two with no appetizers. I believe i have had better food at Waffle House. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The filet was delicious. Moist, flavorful, melted in my mouth. I also like a good salad bar and I found the salad bar fresh with a few unique items. Very enjoyable. Would order the steak again, very good.
