I was planning a 80th birthday party. I talked to Ana who answered the phone at the club. We planned to meet later that week due to the fact they only to planned meetings.
She was not there, ended have meeting with with someone else from club.
To make a long story short…. After we had date set, and waiting on price fore food, they emailed us that they could not cater due to prior commitments!?!
Just to let you all know. The club is under new management. They have no one there ever, they rarely answer the phone and dui g the time we did get ahold of them there were always issue like, a bender is here fixing… or the water leak is having issues… and they would say they would call back.
You cannot plan or have confidence that they will carry through with what they promise. Bo one had called me, no one have responded to me about the non- refundable deposit for a band I can’t use. So very unprofessional and ruined our chance for a new place to have party.
I would not recommend this place till they get NEW managment

The food is incredible! What did you expect? It’s Portuguese food! From delicious stakes to savory seafoods, this place always fulfills my cravings for Portuguese Dishes. The ambient is elegant yet casual, nice white table cloths and actual fabric napkins. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Hudson!

I was at the restaurant at the Clube Português de Hudson, Massachusetts, today, Saturday, September 28, 2024, during the DNA de Gigante event, and had one of the worst service experiences of my life. After waiting an hour and a half for my meal with no explanation or justification, I decided to cancel my order. I was treated with total disrespect by the waiter, who not only refused to handle my request politely but also threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay for a meal I never received.
I felt completely cheated and disrespected. The situation was absurd! The most outrageous part is that I should have been the one calling the police for the unacceptable service and the way I was treated. Waiting so long for a meal and, instead of receiving an apology, being threatened is something that should never happen in any establishment.
This type of behavior is unacceptable and shows a total lack of training by the staff. I hope the restaurant’s management takes the necessary actions because what happened was a complete disrespect to the customer.

Sound Review
it gets 2 starts for having decent food, but I don’t think I’ll go back here. There was a mentally challenged person who kept harassing our table and when we presented it to waitstaff it turns out he was the son of someone involved with the restaurant, an owner or manager. Very poor business practice.
Then it took me 3 tries to find something on the menu that they actually had.
They did have what looked good 6 shrimp and 6 scallops and I asked for just 12 scallops and they couldn’t do that. This happened at a few of the menu items. You have the food so put it on my plate.
Also we reserved a table as we had a large party and they gave us one waitress over 2 dozen people. Also no drink menu and a dingy hallway for the bathrooms.

Food was delicious to say the least! I’m not easily impressed. I love to try new places and this was spot on! We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 entrees, mostly seafood. All were very well made and and tasted amazing. Service was great and so was the atmosphere.

This place is hands down the best 5 star restaurant The chef is Amazing! Every appetizer/ meal we’ve had the 2 times that I’ve been here have been Outstanding! The Manager was also Amazing! We went here for a school event, so ton of decorations that were beautifully displayed. Plenty of parking. The space itself was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this as a good venue for events.
