This was my first time at this location. The food was good and the sides were good
The waitress was not bad. She forgot part of our order. The bbq sauce is good also.

We enjoy good BBQ and Rib Crib did not disappoint. We both had brisket and ribs, my husband added the sausage. Everything was very good. Their mild BBQ sauce has a nice flavor but the meat really did not need it. They have a good selection of sides, though a side salad would have been nice, but I did not see it as a side. I had green beans (rather plain) and corn on the cob (a bit soggy). Husband had the baked beans, they were nicely seasoned. Atmosphere was normal for a BBQ place, but nothing special. Seating was prompt and without a wait. Our waitress was kind and efficient. She checked on us throughout the meal, but was very slow bringing our bill. I would recommend the Rib Crib in McAlester.

Have eaten here several times and food is normally great. Last visit my food was cold and the meat was gristly but my husband’s was fine. Think the kitchen just had an off night. They were pretty busy with several large family groups and screaming kids.

This is one of the few restaurants in McAlester open until ten at night so we would often go there after I got off work at about 8:30.

Service is always fast and friendly. A little pricey compared to other local options but you get a lot of food and I always take home enough for lunch the next day.

Hubby always gets the motherlode. I get the combo with polish sausage, pulled pork and chicken.

For dessert we love their fried pies served hot with two scoops of ice cream

Everything was dryer than my memaw, no flavor. I go to ribcrib rarely and Thts like years apart, all because I forget how nasty everything is.

Update: I got a call about 9-10pm two nights back from the GM and she was very apologetic about our experience and really just wanted to fix things, she gave me $40 dollars off so the next night we placed another To go order I got the same thing that I got the first time except instead of the two meat it was the 3 meat and I wasn’t about to order the Mac and cheese again, so I got potato salad and beans. The manager on last night gave us our meal for free (didn’t expect tht) and I was surprised at how nice the food was this time, the best thing was the pulled pork (it didn’t taste like sweaty pig) the ribs were great, the brisket wasn’t as good this time but I was just happy everything else was good. My husband said the sandwich he got was very good, the chips were nice. I never expected them to actually be good or redeem themselves because it usually always taste gross but I’m impressed.

Overall, it was a nice lunch visit. Had the rib, pulled pork, and cheddar jalapeño sausage, and all were nice. The pork was delicate yet had strength and tasted good with some smoke appeal on the backend of the palate. The rib was just a touch salty, but that could be attributed to my current cold. The sausage was really good. The skin had some bite but did not fight on the bite through while the cheddar and jalapeños were dispersed generously and evenly. The little gem of mashed potatoes was fantastic! Will eat here again.

I’ve never heard of Rib Crib apparently it’s a chain. Being from NC I’m a huge fan of smoked hog, chicken, beef.

I was super excited to try Oklahoma BBQ. Chain or not this place is fantastic.

I had the two meat combo with pulled pork and brisket both of them were smoked perfectly.

If you’re in town it’s worth a try.

They weren’t busy at all but had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated because the hostess was on the phone taking an order. 10 minutes! Finally, a server came to seat us. The food was good & the server was professional. The ladies room was filthy! They need decreaser & a clean mop!!

The reviews here were mediocre but I liked the menu. So I tried to chance it. I ordered a Blue Moon on draft (they didn’t have oranges which was fine but later I overheard they didn’t have limes either.) I ordered a one meat plate with sliced brisket, okra, and corn on the cob. The brisket was cold and extremely tough. I’m not sure I’ve ever had brisket I wouldn’t eat again. I combined the fire bbq sauce and traditional sauce to get a fairly good flavor but the meat was almost too tough to chew. Even the toast was cold and pretty crunchy.

Dont get Offended.. We pass by there regularly at different times of the Day, Evenings, Weekly.. Parking Lot only shows very minimal amount of customers. Usually announces a lot On Food Quality and Service.. To where Is, Very Important on Drawing in Customers.. I would like to stop by and visit and see for myself. And Im very sure it will be a 4 star establishment.

Ate here for the first time tonight. Ordered a half rack of ribs, coleslaw, macaroni & cheese. Oh. My. Gosh. The ribs literally fell off the bone. Super moist & tender. And the sauce was amazing! Also ordered a blood orange whiskey sour. Sooo good, not too sugary, not too strong. We were visiting from out of state, but next time we visit our family here…we’ll be back for SURE!
