This was a very special birthday dinner for my wife and the staff at the Ribault Social Club did not disappoint! Everything was extraordinary from the time we walked into this beautiful restaurant and inn. Our server, Sarah, was extremely professional and courteous as she went about sharing with us the menu offerings of the evening and the craft cocktails that were being offered. Everything the way order was delicious Sara even arranged for us to meet the executive chef and sous chef. What a treat! The Rebault Social Club is the perfect place for your special occasions. Don’t miss it when you’re in the Low Country

I brought my team here for an employee appreciation dinner, and it was the perfect choice. Sara and the entire staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. I sat on the porch since the weather was beautiful, which made the experience even better. The food and drinks were amazing, and everything was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to dine. Highly recommend!

WOW!! Such much more than we expected. We drove 45 minutes to visit after hearing about the new chef, and he did not disappoint! Such a unique menu full of flavor and creativity. We enjoyed a beautifully plated and perfectly cooked four-course dinner in a romantic setting, very reasonably priced. Exquisite fine dining in a historic inn right on the water. We are going back next week and taking friends with us.

We went for the first time to Beaufort restaurant week. We chose this restaurant for the menu and atmosphere. I can honestly say I was severed a plate of disappointment. The appetizers were to be expected, fair nothing outstanding or even interesting. I ordered the bone in pork chop. The plate itself was hot which would indicate everything on the plate was fully cooked My pork chop was raw to the bone. Come on chef! You should know not to send out raw meat. This is Culinary school 101. The servers along with Management were disorganized.I waited 30 minutes for my chop to be cooked and returned. We waited another 20 minutes for dessert. We decided to take it home. Dessert is not wroth mentioning. All in all a let down.

We returned with a group of 6. Sarah our server was fabulous! Chef, fabulous unfortunately the young server (not ours) hushed us bc we were having fun. Large bill over $600 to be hushed We ate in the private room in the basement which was very cool! However, it only takes one rude interaction to ruin the hard work of everyone else.

We had an amazing dinner at The Ribaut Social Club inside the Anchorage 1770. Everything was cooked perfectly. The Wreckfish and Succotash was delicious. We also had the Chicken Milanese and it was fantastic.

Had a lovely experience at The Ribault Social Club.
Outstanding service, lovely atmosphere and great food. In times where mediocrity is rampant, this is a great reminder that there are still people doing their best. My recognition to the owners and chef. Highly recommend !!!

I had dinner last week at the Ribaut Social Club in the Anchorage 1770 in Beaufort while I was in town visiting family who live there. We dined out on the porch where we had a perfect and gentle evening breeze and a gorgeous view of the river. The food was delicious and fresh, and we enjoyed the special summer cocktail list. Service was what you would expect at one of the fine dining establishments in town: attentive, friendly, and not rushed.
The food was not as creative as I’d hoped for, but it was my first time at the restaurant and I’d heard many people rave about the chef’s creativity, so I may have had somewhat high expectations. I also heard that the restaurant is in the process of hiring a new executive chef, so we may have timed our visit poorly during that transition. Even so, the meal was delicious and served beautifully.
This is a perfect restaurant for a special occasion, as the dishes are quite pricey, but if you have the chance to splurge, this is a great option! It ranks as one of the finest restaurants in the Beaufort area, and the location in such a historic building with the view out over the water make it worth the cost!

I originally was a little hesitant because the online menu seemed really expensive. But we went and the staff was some of the best that I have ever been with, the food was very delicious, and the 3-courses for one price was a tremendous value. Sooo good!

At $175 per person, sending us through a buffet line was a little tacky, as was the automatic $44 per person gratuity. The whole experience was underwhelming, worth nowhere close to what we paid.
They’ve gotten their last visit from me. They should have included a room for what we paid.
