This was a drive-through only bbq place. The food was abundant and fabulous. The meat was moist and falling off the bone. The beans were delicious, with big chunks of meat in them. The Cole slaw was a bit juicy, but had a great flavor. Definitely worth the trip.

We Forest Gumped our way into Rickey’s Rib Shack Barbeque, what luck we had the ribs and brisket were delicious, and the potatoe salad was the best I’ve had in a while. We will stop here next time we’re on our way through.

I called ahead to reserve our food, then went through the drive-thru to pick it up. Quick and easy. The lady who helped me was super friendly.

Sandwich paid for was not chipped brisket. Tasted like a bad cut of roast! Was dry, tough, horrible!!!! Sausage was like Eckrich sausage-nothing special. Horrible food for $24.

Initially I was annoyed that this was a drive through BBQ place only and that there was no in-door dining. However the BBQ was awsome, and the price was lower than most BBQ places which i suppose makes up for the lack of dining facilities inside the restaurant. I ate my meal in my car and would come here again. Great food, good stomach feel.

What a wonderfully delightful find on our trip through Texas! The brisket, smoked turkey, and ribs were divine! Only the drive-thru was open and after getting our food, we ate in our car in front of the restaurant. While we were eating, the gentleman who was working came out and gave us a wet washcloth for our hands and told us about how they make their food. You can tell they take pride in making excellent food! This amazing hospitality was especially appreciated! We will be lifetime fans and hope to be back soon!
