TBH even tho I rated 5 stars the ribs are meh and a little dry but the rest is the best I’ve had. The cheese corn and Mac and cheese are great. Brisket melts in your mouth and the pulled pork is so good you can’t stop yourself from eating it

Seriously though Dairy Queen 1/2 mile up the road does better than this and their chkn strips are better Come on yall can do better. Was so delicious we ate the twice on our 4 day trip to Knoxville Iowa. Only thing I didnt care for was the sauce. But food was just delicious especially the corn. Highly recommend trying this place.

I grabbed the Rib Shack’s specialty sandwich with brisket, pulled pork, cole slaw, bbq sauce, and had some mac and cheese and beans.
The meat was juicy and tasty. The slaw had the right amount of sweet snd tang. The mac and cheese, was spot on. The beans, thick and delicious.

This place is amazing so so so good staff was great, we never been here before told us how to read the menu and it was over. Not one complaint from party of 5. Everything was perfect from the brisket to the pulled chicken. I would eat here every day if I lived in this town These cooks need an award. Thank you..

Ordered a full rack of ribs for me and the miss-iz.
The amount you get at the price the have is astonishing.
The ribs themselves were decent, not the best I’ve ever had here. Seemed like they were overcooked which was weird considering it was right at lunch time.
The potato salad was a little bland and definitely missing something.
The cheesy potatoes were excellent and was definitely the highlight of the meal.
As the cornbread was crap, and tasted very doughy.
I was really looking forward to eating here, as it’s been a while since I have visited Knoxville, but this was a huge let down compared to recent times in the past.
Gonna take a real inkling forbsome BBQ, and only if I’m starving and in Knoxville to get ke to come back.

Stopped here in between races. Small place but it seems like there’s ample seating, especially during warm weather. The staff was super nice. The BBQ’d meats were really good though the ribs were a little tougher than I liked. The two sides we ordered were fantastic. The creamed corn casserole was the perfect accompaniment. Would definitely go back if I was to pass through again.

I ordered the $25 full rack of ribs thinking I would have a good meal. Instead, I was given a dried out rack of tough meat. A young lady working there saved the day by offering a resolution to my issue. Kudos to her for thinking about the customer! The young man who served me the old ribs needs some training. I’m not in a hurry to visit this “dry” Rib Shack again.
