Visiting GA stopped by this place to check it out around 6 pm on Saturday. They close at 9 pm. We wanted to try some Home style barbecue. My husband was looking forward to having the brisket but they ran out so that was disappointing. We ended up having the full rack of ribs with coleslaw, baked beans and homemade potatoe salad. Everything was delicious, ribs fall off the bone. The service was good and overall would return to this location. We happen to visit the one in Murphy NC and definitely the food was not as enjoyable so location does matter in my experience.

This hidden gem was recommended by many locals. The overall recommendation was the brisket; the wet brisket to be exact. I’m a hard sale on brisket but this was a run off win for the best brisket ever. The sides included LOADED twice baked potatoes salad and fried green tomatoes. Since I was from the south, I was a little skeptical of the Fried green tomatoes. House put to rest after the first one, they were crispy, salty, and citrusy. The loaded twice baked potato salad with something on its own. It was almost like a luxury appetizer, all the complex flavors are twice baked potato, but just as good refrigerator as fresh. If you’re staying anywhere near the Helen or Gainesville area, the 20 minute ride is well worth The customer service and food you get.1010 Food, 10 out of 10 customer service and THE BEST peach cobbler ever. Sorry Nanny if you see this, but this is a must go place. This is Off of the main drain and away from the vacation parts but just close enough if you’re on vacation.

We were visiting some friends and stopped by Rib Country for late lunch. The entrance was decorated with southern charm and what was to be “expected” of a BBQ place.
I had to use the bathroom and I was happily surprised as to how clean the ladie’s room was. Clean and actually very nice looking. My father always said “a restaurant that has a clean bathroom, has a clean kitchen”. He always went to the bathroom before sitting at any restaurant to see how clean it was. So, yeh, very clean.
The staff from hostesses to our waitress were very pleasant and friendly. Real southern and kind.
I asked for this and that and were given them with a smile.
Their food was good (ribs seem real small) but their collard greens were amazing. Had two portions!!!!
Check arrived without an offer of dessert. So much the better, don’t need the extra calories.
Overall a good local BBQ place. Would be back.
P. S. Was too hungry. Hence no pictures of the food. But took plenary pics of the bathroom. LOL.

Great food, great customer service, great atmosphere. We had the ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, and garlic toast. We were amazed with every. single. bite. It was the best dining out experience that I’ve had in a very long time. We chose them as caterers for an event, and I’m positive that we made a great choice!

Read about this place online. We were not disappointed! We had the BBQ pork plate. The slaw was absolutely perfect, and the meat was very tasty. Not dry or fatty. The portions were exactly right. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. We will be back.

We were in town on vacation and stopped in for dinner. We had an access issue initially over my service dog, but we were able to solve it.(I was asked for her paperwork). I feel we didn’t get the best service though because of this. We were definitely rushed and our server who also sat us was not pleasant. It wasn’t busy at all. The food was really good though and I would have ordered dessert had the check not been put on our table while we were in the middle of eating. (And no my SD isn’t misbehaved, she slept underneath the booth).

Extremely overpriced and they clearly don’t pay attention to orders. We ordered a CHOPPED brisket sandwich (on my receipt) and got sliced. We ordered an extra side because at $5.20 and based off review pictures, we assumed the sides were large. Very wrong. Popeyes has bigger small sides. Keep it moving down the road to somewhere else.

We were very delighted with our dining experience here! We noticed a lot of vehicles parked out front and wondered if that would affect our service. Not at all. They quickly prepared a table for us and we were seated within a couple minutes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress was very kind, joyful, and very attentive. (She brought me a refill before my drink emptied, while taking care of a party) After ordering, our food was brought to us faster than we have ever experienced at a barbecue restaurant. How did they do that? We shared a plate that had a rack of baby back ribs (tender, delicious, and so smoky), a quarter smoked delicious chicken, 4 ounces of delicious pulled pork, and 4 ounces of the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth “wet” (fat left in) brisket. The cold slaw was “crispy” delicious, meaning the texture was like the vegetables had just been cut! I didn’t touch the fries simply because the bbq and coleslaw were so satisfying, my son and wife enjoyed the extra fries. We were full and had plenty of meat to bring home for leftovers tomorrow. We will now be making Rib Country BBQ (Cleveland) a regular stop for us when driving through Cleveland. We were really impressed with the prices too. PS The men’s bathroom was very clean, stocked, and spacious. Plus there was a changing area (for baby diapers) that didn’t interfere with the flow of traffic in the men’s room. Thank you from we the dads who are changing our children’s diapers!

I stopped by around midday and ordered the rib plate (half rack) with two sides. The food arrived quickly and was served warm. While the ribs were tender, they were disappointingly small and lacked much meat. The sauce was thick but unremarkable. As for the sides, the limited selection on the lunch menu didn’t impress, and the flavors were pretty average. I even tried to liven up the coleslaw with some BBQ hot sauce, but it lacked any real heat. Overall, the meal didn’t feel like a good value.
