Great Irish Pub. Had the Guiness Stew and Chicken Curry one night and went back the next night for the Fish and Chips. Cool atmosphere, while busy it wasnt too loud so you could hold a conversation. The staff were awesome and the Guiness and Harp were cold. Will make this a regular stop when in Charlotte.

I’d give the atmosphere six stars if I could. Everything else was five star, as if that is common. Really outstanding. Beautiful. I used to frequent the Galway Hooker & this is definitely filling that niche and dare I say the food was a bit better at Ri Ra. Love the breathalyzer at the door, had to try it out.

Bangers n Mash were good. We sat at the whiskey bar upstairs. Bartender was awesome. She made us feel at home (we’re from NJ/NY). My wife loved the mac n cheese skillet. Guinness on tap to top it off before watching the Knicks beat the Hornets Thanksgiving Eve. Loved it.

Brought my friend from New York here as I was showing her the city and we weren’t overly impressed. The Shepherds pie was decent, the salmon was good but they severely overcooked the brussel sprouts. At least the beer was cold and the cocktail was made well, but the atmosphere isn’t very lively.

We stopped in before a show at the Carolina. Made a reservation and were greeted upon arriving and taken to our table. The server was ok, but in a hurry and not really engaged. We don’t drink and I believe that once we asked for tea and water, the server was ready to move on. The place itself was wonderful and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We started with cheese curds and they were great. We both ordered fish and chips and the fish was wonderful, but you could tell the fries were placed on the plates waiting for the fish to be done cooking. The fries were really warm but not hot and sat for a few minutes on the plate. We finished with a piece of chocolate cake and it was really good. Overall it was a good experience, but not great. As we departed there were three hostess standing behind the welcome area and not one wished us a good evening, it’s the little things sometimes.

Really enjoyed my visit here — the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The spinach dip came out bubbling hot and delicious, and my burger was cooked perfectly medium, juicy and flavorful. The beer selection hit the spot, though I will say the Bourbon Rouge cocktail didn’t quite feel worth the price. Overall though, a great experience and I’d happily come back.

The best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Even the manager, who was busy cleaning up empty plates and ensuring excellent service, made sure we were having a great time. It’s rare to see a manager like that in customer service. I ordered the cranberry mint mule, and it was spot on. I also appreciated the fact that the candles on the table weren’t LED lights but actual flames. I’ll definitely be back!

This establishment was a highlight of our trip to Charlotte! The overall vibe of an Irish pub is amazing. The wood furnishings create the perfect ambiance. The staff is professional and engaging. I appreciate my server’s sense of humor and strong knowledge of the menu. Everything we ate was top quality with perfect presentation. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip, bangers & mash, fish & chips with the Baileys Spiked Mousse for dessert! Grab a Black & Blue beer cocktail to complement the meal.
