My son and his fiancé hosted an amazing Engagement party at the Rhawnhurst this weekend! Shannon, Tori and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful!! Food was terrific! Great job, chef!!! Highly recommend!

The service at this bar/Cafe is excellent!! Located at Rhawn Street and Castor Avenue it’s operating for over fifty years. I really like their chicken wings and chicken fingers which I particularly come here for. They have my favorite beer Guinness along with a variety of other beers. They offer specials for game nights. Watched the Phillies first game here with the well known ax player of the Northeast playing with his band Mr. A.J. Slick. Great night even tough the Phightins lost.

I absolutely love coming to this place so much I had my Birthday here recently. It was the best time! The food, the DJ, the service was just outstanding! Everything is reasonably priced and I love the bartenders as they are very attentive. I frequent this place often because the people there are like family to me. I highly recommend The Rhawnhurst for any event.

Filthy sidewalk. There’s so many cigarette butts on the side walk that you can insulate the whole house with, and it’s a simple fix!!! the picture doesn’t make it justice. You need to see this close up!

It was a friendly and fun environment. I went on a karaoke night and it was a nice vibe. I’m not a fan of karaoke, but I was able to get a few laughs! I didn’t order food, but the person I was with did. They gave me a shrimp from their quesadilla and it was delicious. I had one and a half drinks and they were both very watery. I stopped at the half because thr water and cranberry was making me run back and forth to the bathroom – which was clean, but non gender. I personally prefer places with gender-conforming, not just because it’s the way, but it opens up more opportunities for people with a weak bladder this place has two bathrooms one female and one male. It’s a quaint place, so I think that’s a change I’d like to happen. Unless, of course there is a safety issue. There are a few pool tables and a nice high chair bar that can seat about 40 people. I’m not from that area. It is a local spot to frequent. It’s a $ for overall cost. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

I went on New Year’s Eve for a few hours everyone was nice, and friendly, I ordered fries and it was a decent portion but I also ordered one soda which usually you don’t get charged for at a bar but it was New Year’s Eve so when they said $2.50 I wasn’t thrilled, but then they opened a can and didn’t even pour the whole thing into the cup so basically I paid $2.50 for 3/4 of a can of soda

Best bar in the area. Great bartenders. Awesome themed nights. Comfortable vibe & and environment. They host a lot of pool leagues so it does get crowded some night but the bartenders don’t make you wait long or feel unnoticed.
