delicious bbq and tex mex at an affordable price. very similar to a lot of bbq you would get in central texas and just as delicious. moist brisket is a must here! fajitas are well seasoned and smokey! homemade tortillas here as well. great service and even better vibes

The brisket tacos are a must-order. The brisket is pretty good. They are simple, but tasty and there’s a salsa bar to spice it up even more. We also got The Baker with fajita, and it was a hearty, satisfying meal. The potato was loaded with juicy, well-seasoned fajita meat and all the classic fixings. I also have to mention the half chicken—it was incredibly tasty and juicy, which can be hard to do with barbecue chicken. The chicken fajita taco needs a little of improvement it was a little dry but ultimately, the food is absolutely worth coming back for and I still need to try the ribs so stay tuned friends. Ribs are tasty and pretty awesome!! 100% recommended!

Customer service was great, described the menu and provided information on food and their opinions on it. Got the smoke turkey and it was moist and good to eat. Fries were crunchy and good. Wife got the sandwich she like it but wish there was a little bit more meat but good. Will go on later on to try more of the menu

My husband & I were 1st timers dining in at Reyna’s.
OMG…… everything was AMAZING!
From the moment we walked in the bartender helped us out, even walked us to go order. Explained how to order and etc.
Joe helped us out at the register, recommend some plates (Which we got).
While we were dining in….. Joe helped us out and tended to us. He was so helpful.
The fajita, potato salad, charro beans, spare ribs and chicken…. OMG….
EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!
If you need a new delicious BBQ spot… this is it.
Definitely bringing the kids next time.

Clean open atmosphere, welcome and friendly staff,mouthwatering fall off the bone meat,home made corn and flour tortillas done on site.Emily manager on site very insightful with her knowledge on meat options. I almost never eat dessert but here the peach cobbler grabbed my attention with ice cream was a home run.Hot sweet and decadent. I hope you try this place.lt won’t disappoint.

The Panchitos were flavorless. It seemed the refried beans came from a can. And I suggest they use nacho cheese (saucy) other than the cheeses it came with. White and yellow, probably Monterrey Jack with another type of yellow cheese. Regardless, we did not like the panchitos. Service was good and atmosphere was great, but the Panchitos need improvement.

My wife and I moved down to Harlingen from Houston recently, and during my lunch break at work, I went to this new place people told me about called Reyna’s BBQ in Weslaco. I went, fell in love with the baked potato, and knew I had to take my wife.
I rarely have an off day, but when I finally did (today) I decided it would be the best time to take the wife to try the potato after a long day at the outlets. I went to the closest Reyna’s (being the one in weslaco) just to find out they were out of potatoes. I didn’t even know that was possible. So I decided to call the one in McAllen and they told me they only had one but would make more for us. Said it would be ready in 15 minutes and I was about a 25 minutes drive from them. Placed my order and headed that way.
When I got there, they hit me with pretty upsetting news telling me there weren’t any ready and would take 30 minutes. My wife and I were pretty frustrated at that point. Thankfully for us, the team leader, Sergio, was the one taking our order and apologized for everything and treated us with the loaded fries and some drinks while we waited. Still pretty upset, we agreed.
Got the fries pretty quick and we sat down and ate. Either we were starving or those fries were the best fries we’ve ever had. After teaming up on those fries, it seems like one of the cooks came to us and assured us that in another 10 minutes our food would be ready but then insisted on giving us dessert while we waited. He ended up giving us some banana pudding and a pecan pie! At this point they have already gone above and beyond.
Once our food was ready, Sergio came down and gave us our food and apologized once more. I told him they’ve exceeded our expectations and I also apologized for being upset. He then told me if I were to come back and dine with them he would give us a discount! I mean how much more is there to offer? I’m sure if I had stayed a little longer, he probably would’ve offered me part ownership on their location haha!
But serious note, this is the nicest Reyna’s I’ve been to and their entire staff was extremely polite and helpful. Thank you guys for ending our night with a huge smile.

I ordered my dinner through the drive thru and waited while other cars behind me were getting their orders and driving off. The girl who worked there came to my car and asked me what my order was (again) and when I told her, she had a surprised look on her face and apologized because “the screen blanked out”- as she put it. I ordered again and she brought my food. I asked her if it included the bbq sauce and sides I asked for and she said “yes”. I should have just checked it myself because it did not have the onions, pickles, jalapeños, or bbq sauce I asked for. The girl was apologetic for messing up the first time and was really nice and threw in a complimentary dessert- but what I really wanted was not included and that made for a very disappointing dinner when I got home. I was not about to drive back to the restaurant. The food was ok, not great. I ordered the lean brisket sandwich and it was very dry. It could have used the bbq sauce. I don’t think I’ll come back and I don’t recommend it.

Had an incredible experience at Reyna’s BBQ. The baby back ribs were cooked perfectly—fall-off-the-bone tender—and the brisket was juicy and flavorful. Every side and cut of meat we tried was top notch. The service made it even better: bartender Josh and manager Anastacio gave us genuine hospitality that made us feel welcome from start to finish. This place nails both the food and the atmosphere—definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
