I’ve been coming to this bakery for over 20 years, and it’s disappointing to see how much the quality of the bread has declined. The chocolate conchas, in particular, used to be rich, dark, and wonderfully buttery — the kind that left your fingertips a little greasy in the best way. Now they’re dry, pale, and lacking the flavor and texture that made them special.

Overall, the bread just isn’t what it used to be. This bakery once stood out for its freshness and authentic taste, but lately it feels like the recipes or ingredients have changed for the worse. I truly hope they return to the quality that long-time customers remember and love.

I have been coming to this bakery since i was 10 years old. The bread is so good but not worth getting sick. This is the 3rd time I have seen flies on the bread, flies can leave bacteria, viruses, and parasites on food. I will never ever go to this bakery again. Imagine eating a bread that a fly landed on and that fly landed on throw up, dog poop or human poop.

Was craving for a chocolate cake slice so I stop by this bakery, they have a big selection of Mexican style bread and cakes as well, location is big and very busy, bread looks like is constantly being stocked so you will most likely get fresh bread, and one star deduction because yeah is kinda pricey compared to other places I had a churro that cost me 3 dollars and it was chewy and not that good, the cake slice was ok not Porto’s bakery good but ok

Horrible experience with a particular employee Her attitude is horrible she treats customers like animals rushing us around to pick our bread and pay. She smart talks back and does not shut up. We asked to speak to the manager or owner and no one would direct us to them.

All My family all time favorite Bakery! The Flan es mi Pecado. Es el mejor de todo. I’ll be coming here since I was little and I will still continue to come because this business never disappoints me.

Never again this was my go too now ill take my money elsewhere. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

I was highly recommend this bakery by my friend. It was absolutely what I ordered the bread was delicious, not dry and I am truly thankful for such a beautiful cake.
I would have given 5 stars however, I had only 1 issue. Paying a deposit for the stand! It’s plastic! Definitely not valued at the deposit charged. And very inconvenient to be responsible for retrieving them at a hall party where I had other priorities…
But I will absolutely be back! I loved it. My guest loved it… Thank you….
I provided the 1 pic as sample of what I wanted minus the bottom layer….
The second is what I received. Beautiful

We don’t come here often… we’ve gotten our “rosca de reyes” from Reyna’s bakery 2 or 3 yrs in a row now. We purchase sweet bread once in a blue moon, and birthday cakes even less often. This year I got a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday from this bakery. In all honesty, I was too lazy to drive all the way to Lucero’s in Bell Gardens. So I stopped by here more out of convenience than anything else. Let me tell you… my 1st time buying, even trying a “cachiflan” cake (half cheesecake half flan) and for the whopping price of $28 for an 8″ cake?!? Definitely NOT worth it!! My whole family was kind of disappointed in the flavor. Maybe we’re not a cachiflan type family? Maybe the cachiflan is not Reyna’s forte? Who knows… one thing is certain: I won’t be buying it a 2nd time (at least not from here).
