Nice spot for fish and chips. We were staying at the hotel next door and decided to try it. Food was made to order and really fresh. The service by the guys from Venezuela excellent.

Fish and chips were so good. Tasted very fresh. I don’t normally like tartar sauce but theirs was great. Nice environment to catch up with friends and rest from shopping.

We had the creamy fish soup and the fish and chips. The fish soup was fairly bland – chunks of fish were flavorless. The mussels were briney and offered some flavor but only when eating one, not to the overall soup. The fish and chips was the same story – flavorless fish. The only discernible taste was the thick, oily batter.

Ordered the fish and chips which taste good on its own and also with vinegar. Added on mixed seafood and fish stew. The fish stew is very thick and has a strong peppery taste. The mixed seafood comes with salmon, cod and some other seafood in a curry-like gravy.
The ingredients are fresh and food is delicious.

We had great time and tasty food at this restaurant. We were larger group, but we managed to find a seating space.
Fish and chips was great and fried perfectly. Really tasty and cooked perfectly.
Staff was nice and helpful which just added to our experience at this place.
I would recommend to stop by and try it.

We went over after our whale watching trip, fish n chips was good, though the local Plokkari takes a while to get use to, not too bad anyway. Restaurant was quiet during lunch time. @live2njoy

Genourous amount of fish, beautiful served dishes. The fried fish was tender but was missing salt I think (so no amount of salt I added myself really helped). The Arctic chart was a little dry to my taste

Best Fish & Chips I have ever had! Piping hot, perfectly fried batter & the fish (Cod) was incredible. We split an order for a light lunch & it was a perfect portion. Highly recommend.

We went to eat at Reykjavik Fish Restaurant for fish and French fries. We didn’t expect a revelation, but this time we were disappointed with the quality of the food. In addition, prices exorbitant to the quality of food. The restaurant is large, interesting with an atmosphere, although a bit neglected already.
The staff was also not very talkative and pleasant.
