Typical diner style menu, excessively friendly staff very comfortable environment. (4) in the party (3) ordered normal one on a restricted diet. Had a salad. Chili dogs were good. Nothing different than some other places and other coney islands. One party had chili… we thought it was gonna be like actual chili but it was a $5 cup of coney dog sauce. Not what we expected. Fries were nice and hot. The hamburger was good but looked like it was a flat frozen patty. Oblong shaped on a round sesame seed bun. Less than 1/2″ patty. Maybe a 1/4″ thick. Dr. Pepper tasted flat. Other person said the same. Flavored tea tasted like it was Lipton flavored thru soda machine. Brisk maybe.

We have been here in the past and breakfast at the time was really good. We like that there are so many menu items to chose from for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of parking. Cash or card pay at the register. Booths and tables with chairs. Miss the old Dimitri’s that this restaurant used to be. The onion rings were great! Beer batter type, not the crunchy coating.

A pillar of Dearborn. Been coming here for over 25 years. Always amazing service and quality, also affordable unlike many other chain places. The staff really makes you feel like family. Food is always consistent and filling Can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you for helping create great memories for not only me and my childhood but for my kids as well!

Great food. My chopped steak, mashed potatoes, and soup were all excellent. The pepper steak soup was especially good.
Service was fantastic. The waitresses were knowledgeable, friendly, and quick.

I’ve never had a bad meal there. Service is great. The owner/manager/cook, stopped by our table 4 times to make sure everything was good. All the servers were as attentive even if it wasn’t their table. Great place. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Came here on a wham waiting on my car at Honda I was surprised right when you walk in the door you’re greeted with wonderful service and happy smiles fist time coming waiter name was Bonnie best waiter I’ve had ever!!!! I came back a second time didn’t catch the waiters name and she was also wonderful food is absolutely amazing this place is a Literal hidden Gem my only complaint would be they need to stay open a little later for the night Owls.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. The service has always been great. Love their breakfasts. The sausage gravy is delish! You can substitute hashbrowns with their fruit bowl, I normally don’t get fruit at a restaurant. But Rex’s is a good mix.
