This is a good truck on the property behind Albert Ice House. You can buy beer or wine from ice house and sit with your food from Rex’s at a shady picnic table or Adirondack chairs. No live music during the day but still a nice atmosphere. We ordered boudin balls and a smashburger to split. The balls and sauce were great, but the burger just so-so … on the small side and not very flavorful. Nice little stop off the beaten path though

Rex’s Creole Kitchen at Albert’s Dance Hall in Albert, Texas is an absolute must! My husband and I ordered the buffalo wings with homemade ranch, hush puppies, and the cowgirl burger with bacon jam — everything was spot on and absolutely amazing. Jason is very friendly and his customer service is wonderful. The wings were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, and that’s saying a lot because I love wings. The flavors were incredible and perfectly cooked. This place is a must-do and must-have if you’re anywhere nearby. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food. We stopped by to check out the Albert Ice House and tried to food truck. So glad we did! We had the fish and shrimp, gumbo, and boudin balls. I highly recommend this place if youre in the area.

Saw this food truck at the rv park that we were staying at this weekend. Didn’t get to try it out. So we decided to go and give them a try . And it was worth it. The burgers, the shrimp po boy, and the bondin were very good. Will definitely be back again next time we come to Fredericksburg.

We had a large group order from the food truck at Texas Heritage Vineyard. The lady working the food truck was so patient and kind! She got all of our food out as quick as she could and it was DELICIOUS. We ordered every item on the menu and each food item was so so good. I will be dreaming of the boudin balls until I come back for more!
